So, I cleaned up my ROM a little bit and I figured I'd share it...and maybe if it's decent enough, I'll make a separate thread for it. The goal of my own build is to keep it as simple and stock-ish as possible, letting the end users install whatever cabs/themes/programs they want. Clean and updated to the latest build, latest Manila 2.5/mods, etc.

K, so long story short... I used the link you posted to obtain a carrier cab as I have not had a need for one for a long time. That led to my phone having no data connection, and currently no service. Been on the phone w/Sprint off and on, but so far no luck. Whenever I get things up and running, I'll try out your ROM again.
If anyone has a Sprint carrier cab that works w/TP for sure, post it, if you wouldn't mind. |

DCD had his site up for the last few months with the Touch Pro carrier cabs, but it's unfortunately down now. Maybe I should just cook in a generic carrier cab, so people get data...I personally canceled data on my plan though (poor student mode), so I don't really have a need for it myself :p |

I'll give it a try Lat. I had to give up data also because of job loss. Actually TP was wife's and I had plain jane company phone. Needed 2 phones so had to give up data to keep cost down. Lat you should edit post to remove carrier cab info till you get the correct one. Will report back later. |

Oh and FYI if you haven't checked out Kimi's new 2.5 messaging mod you should...here. It's the best 2.5 messaging mod out IMO. It only has 1 minor bug that's not at all a big deal.

So I just got back from the Sprint Service Repair center and tomorrow I'll be the brand new owner of a Touch Pro 2. All thanks to Lat, JK. ;) I am a little sad, to be honest, to be leaving the TP world. I was hoping to hang on to it for a long time to come. Oh well :)
That's not to say that I'm not SUPERSTOKED to be getting a TP2! Cuz I am! Anyway, guess I'll be heading over to RZ's TP2 kitchen here shortly. Altough, I think he's gone droid now. Not sure if his TP2 kitchen is discontinued as well. |
