nope, except perfbox was left in... not sure what to do with that though, so it will be skipped from now on..

Also I have both Titanium and Manila in the 081 ROM built with your kitchen. I entered manila in the 3rd question as I was building it though... Not that I mind. It seems Titanium as come a long way since I last messed with it. The scrolling works a ton better than last time. I may even consider using it for sh*** and giggles. Do your Titanium ROMs have the Titanium project 7 built in already?

Oh and it's says "Beta Expires 12/01/2009" does that mean it's going to stop working at that time?

Oh, and I'm a bit confused on the nightly updated kitchen. If I wanted 23502, for example, from you; I would have to download the entire kitchen again? Are there any other spots besides Da_G's thread we can find new builds?

I suppose I can make a script that just uploads my SYS builds, but every day I add more so it will continually grow, unless I worked some sort of magic to only upload individual SYS builds that have changed since last upload... I will look into it. kind of a big undertaking!

da_g is where I suggest you get all your builds, they always work (boot). there is also a thread on edtp in chefs corner

Dude, I wouldn't dream of asking you to do anymore than you already do for us. I was just curious is all. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything unneccessarily.

Re: [ROMs][KITCHEN]->>Oct 23<<6.5 NK-RZ Baseline 23069/71/75 TF3d 2.1 & Titanium

lol - about the beta thing no it will not stop working, (anyway even if it did, do you REALLY think you'll be running that build for more than a few days ;) haha) and it should have been removed on autorun.. if not you can delete the key HKLM\System\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Device Beta. I have not added the features that separate make titanium only install for titanium ROMs.. no big deal its just add a few more skip files to the SYS. I will do that, thanks for the reminder! I won't be getting win7 today, still gonna be another 8 hours (transferring from corporate server, not a bittorrent ;)), so tomorrow I will have it.

I agree my nightly kitchen is not bandwidth friendly - it is mainly for myself to rest easy knowing I have backups, and its easy to tell people to just download that instead of cook, rar, and upload ( a titanium and a manila version of each SYS) manually.

Oh yeah, for offical releases (ones I have tested and stuff) I will still be rarring and uploading to mediafire

No, "stock" titanium only. you can add the wm7 titanium project in the kitchen but you will need to skip my titanium cpr's.. I think that is all and I am not sure if my toggles panel will be present after the wm7 titanium is cooked in.

I got a script going that archives my SYS directories straight from the kitchen into their own RAR files and uploads them into a new folder (named the date) on my site. raidzero.alexauv.com/sys/(date)Will be doing the same with XIP (ROM folders)

have not run it fully yet but I have run a proof of concept :-D once it is completed it will be added to my scheduled tasks to run every night.

Re: [ROMs][KITCHEN]->>Oct 23<<6.5 NK-RZ Baseline 23069/71/75 TF3d 2.1 & Titanium

I think I should make a new thread for all the nightly stuff. Sort of like an ongoing project where people can get my latest SYS and XIP components for my kitchen, I think this thread should get left for kitchen and ROM releases. The xip/sys uploader scripts seem to work very well, though the names they give to their directories might get a bit corrupted from time to time

XIP (ROM folders for my kitchen): http://raidzero.alexauv.com/xip
SYS (SYS folders for my kitchen): http://raidzero.alexauv.com/sys

the first XIP routine (add to archive, move, upload) has completed. (rom folders are very small compared to SYS folders). the SYS routine is running now, so give it a few hours to finish (upload at work is not that great)

The kitchen routine will still run at midnight EST every night, followed by SYS at 1AM, and XIP at 2AM.

pagepool is up to you, but I would suggest 20. I just built one with 23502 with a 32mb pagepool.. it is all personal preference and depends what you use your phone for. start with 16, if thats good, leave it or change it and see how that feels. the higher the number the worse battery life will be. my first 23502 I built was a 64mb PP, it was really just to test the way the kitchen set the PP, and I wanted something obvious lol

What benefits are there of 23081 over 23071 (other than the magnify feature)? I'm loving the speed and stability of 23071 thus far, so I'm actually a bit hesitant to switch, haha. Only had one or two random freezups so far in the past few days (and that may have been showcase's fault).

it seems faster, I am still on 23071 on my active TP, 23502 on a test TP and 23081 on another test TP. 23502 seems fastest so far. I am awaiting a call but after that I am flashing my main TP to 23502, 32mb PP (I wanna test real-world battery life with 32mb..)

Agreed, I think 502 is the the fastest all around. Interested to see how that 32mb PP turns out. Let us know.

Oh, and I think I might be becoming a Titanium fan. It sucks cuz I know precisely squat about Titanium. The reading never stops...

sounds good

i'll follow suit with whatever you go with; if 23502 is the fastest for you, i'll definitely go with it. probably gonna stick with a lower PP personally though.

The kitchen is phenom! I'm like WTF was I waiting for. z0mbiexx just led me in the right direction as to how to turn all my cabs into ext files to put in the kitchen so as soon as I get back home I'm going to try and make my (your) ultimate ROM. Exciting times!

Aight, so I finally added a program to the kitchen and it cooked it and it's cool. I added Pocket Uno. The first one I tried to add was z0mbiexx's 6.5.1 HTC Start Menu cab. It's a cab that changes the icon in the bottom bar start menu button. I change that cab to EXT format and put it in the EXT\Baseline folder, but nothing happened that first time I cooked it. I did the same with the Pocket Uno and it worked. I'm thinking that I have to do something different with the start button cab because it's different type of program or not a program at all. Do I need to change it to EXT or something else? What folder should it go into once changed?

I guess my mistake is in thinking that anything that's in cab form can be turned into EXT form and put in that folder.

That is correct just put them into a subfolder under EXT\baseline\

like put your htc start menu ext into ext\baseline\zzzzzz_last (since it will be processed last) i always recommend starting with putting things last then you can work around the order of everything once you see it work. I have also never converted from cab to EXT, I always go from cab to OEM to EXT.. the tools for that have been provided in TOOLS.

jdm, are you still getting that same error? I need to know exactly what you do from download on to be able to help with what may be wrong. assuming htcrt.exe is there and you are an administrator, there should be no issues

edit: 23502 with 32mb PP sucks battery like crazy. then again I have no signal at home .. I have an airave but it is only active during a call..

Yes, the same errors and I did all like you tell me.
I download in a folder called kitchen, extracted here, replaced XIP for the last one:http://raidzero.alexauv.com/xip/10-26-09/ , double click in start kitchen, the name of the Rom, my desired:xip, manila, baseline the sys:yes, paggepool: 32 after the last enter a message said:The system cannot find the path specified.

the problem is you need to put 23052 or 23017 or whatever build you are after in the second prompt. also make sure that there is a folder wioth the name 23502 in ROM and also in SYS.

when using my sys and xip you need to get both.

Yeah one of them I made today I put at a 24 PP and even that wasn't great. I think I'll stick w/20.

The HTC start button thing worked. So, anything that's a cab can be turned into OEM then to EXT then put in your kitchen in the appropriate place in the EXT folder?

yes. sometimes I come across a package that just does not work (causes platformrebuilder to crash) and I just have to either recmod its modules or reversemode its files or just replace with another version entirely. 20 mb pp should be more than enough for most people.

at what part? in SYS you have a folder named 23xxx that contains SYS files and also a folder in ROM with the same name that comtains XIP, xip.bin, os.nb.payload and romhdr.bin.. correct? does it work when you use the stuff that was already there? try with 23069 just to test.

edit: trying 23069 will confirm that the kitchen does work in your environment. if it does then all that's wrong is the sys and/or xip you added are in the wrong place or something

that is right, also be sure to add the 23052 SYS to the SYS folder. so in SYS it will have:

23017
23069
23071
23075
