Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
this would update my sprint pri to 2.34 right?
btw, what benefits does having a new pri have? |
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
yes it would update your PRI, I have not tested this, has I have Alltel, but it would updated PRI
Run Cab go to windows folder on device and run program called PPST.exe let it run, and retart device, and you will have it updated. |
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST

are you sure about that new radio? the number sure looks new but im a bit afriad of hit based on the file name...xGSM??? are u sure its for cdma lol btw, where did u find this stuff? |
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
yes its CDMA radio, when extracting the .NBH it names the radio file GSM.nb that is what is always does,
the radio is not ready to flahs to devices, but I have posted the file, and also given file to Juggalo_X, and he said he woudl have the updated radio out before to long, so later today a new radio will be available. |

Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
Performed the update, but now it takes 30s to find a signal on boot. Just says, "Searching" until it finally grabs a signal, then it shows "Sprint."

Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
Awesome... updated both Sprint PRI and radio. I haven't been out and about but so far so good. ;) I originally was using the telus v1.04.05v radio.
Thanks to conflippers for the PRI update and DCD for the radio update. |

Can someone post up the radio not in an exe or whatever so I can flash from the SD card? I gave someone my last USB cable not knowing it was my only one.

Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
Holy Crap!
Ran the DCD radio update exe. Now I go to boot, and it hits the main Touch pro screen, but before it can pull the Radio info and ROM Version, the screen goes blank and the vibrate function comes on and it keeps vibrating indefinitely until I pull the battery. I tried re-flashing the Sprint 1.1 radio I had earlier. Same thing. Hard reset - Same thing. Any ideas!?! Flashing back to Stock to see what happens! |
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
Updated the PRI and Radio. No problems reported here.
|
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
what is pri exactly? im pretty sure the prl is a roaming list, but not sure what pri is.
|
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
updated radio. no problems to report from me
orlando florida wouldnt it be nice for the question "which radio should i use" if we could do a poll type thread of who is having success in what area with what radio like each state gets to vote on what radio they are using just random thought that popped up for today lol |
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
Never herd of PRI but PRL is a roaming list for sprint along with verizon and probably other carriers as well ( Sorry for capps, meant for differentiation)
|
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
I too would like the .nbh, as I only flash from sd, since I don't own a windows box.
|
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
So does anyone know what pri is?

ISDN30e / ISDN30 / PRI GSM Gateway Products The use of 30 channel ISDN30e GSM Gateways started in 2001 with many alternative carriers connecting them to VOIP gateways and terminating calls in large volumes to the mobile phone networks using the standard mobile phone tariffs. A carrier using a single GSM Gateway could terminate up to 600,000 minutes per month, and most carriers had banks of GSM gateways terminating sveral million minutes of calls per month. This high volume and need for reliability has led to the continuing development of PRI GSM Gateway products which means that they produce consistently high quality calls with advanced SIM management to make the most of the multitude of tariffs available in today's mobile phone marketplace. GSM SAVE have selected the most popular Gateways used by carriers and can now offer these to the corporate business user who find their cost of calls to mobile phones spiralling. These gateways are ideal for companies who make large volumes of calls to mobile phones such as call centres, recruitment and the service industries. |
Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
I ran the PRI update, seemed to go fine. However, now my 6.5 start menu icons are hosed. The first page looks ok at first but when I click on setting, that page does not scroll and the icons appears to be on top of each other. Then you go back to the first page and try and scroll the the icons just bleed all over the page....So I figured I would uninstall the pimp package and then reinstall and that did nothing. Another thing to note is that after a soft reset I see the normai NRGY ROM wallpaper, but as windows loads more I see an all white screen with the htc logo on it and then it loads to TF3d...so something in that pri does something weird...you've been warned.

Re: Updated Sprint HermannC PPST
Well the pri updated, but not the radio
