yeah, I use imap on multiple computers, the problem I had with using the gmail smtp is it would put my reply to as my gmail account. Does it still do that? I have multiple email accounts and I need to have it show the other email addresses. I was flashing a few times a week before I settled on DCD's and had created a custom xml file that had all my email account settings, then used supware's site to generate a cab file

Getting tired now but will have to mess around with it all again tomorrow. I just can't understand why it would just stop working

Actually, that is not right. They *could* be the same file if they have the same name, but don't count on it. Same name does not, for example, mean same version, and that's the main reason you will need to be mindful of files being overwritten.

Example 1:
You include an OEM with an certain DLL, but it gets overwritten by an older version somewhere in EXT.

Example 2:
You include an OEM of Manila in a folder named 'Manila' but also include a Manila modification OEM in a folder named something alphabetically higher, like 'Blue Manila Highlights' -- you will find that the 'Blue Manila Highlights' gets applied before 'Manila' and the plain 'Manila' will overwrite the 'Blue Manila Highlights' instead of the other way around.

So, not only do EXTs overwrite OEMs (if files are the same) but OEMs later in the alphabet will overwrite OEMs earlier in the alphabet if the files are the same. Does that make sense?

yea, that makes sense. another question...lets say you get yellow icons telling you files were overrided...is there a way to modify your kitchen before loading your rom? i wouldnt want to install a rom, see it didnt come out right, then do it all over again repeatedly.

That might be the problem. I recently got a letter from Verizon saying they were shutting down their outgoing mail server. I don't think it mentioned a date. I wonder if support would back that up?

What do you mean "Recreating the email account with a unique name"

If the email account on your phone was named "Gmail", creating a new account with ANY other name would always fix that error (assuming it was bogus). A little history on the error here.

Loving the new kitchen DCD, three things:

1. I have TF3D 2.1 up here using the one from calk, but in some menus like the text messaging screen (when I hit all messages), when I hit the menu soft key (the one on the screen) nothing occurs, and if I hold down my finger to delete a message it does the animation but the menu to actually delete the message never shows up. It's like that in a few menus leading me to believe something I installed is making the menus not show up when I push them.

2. Youtube just says, cannot play video, leading me to believe its a DShow package that I'm going to try to mess with now, but does anyone know which D show actually works so I can just cook it in?

3. I can't get the manila start menu back where it shows the programs when I hit start, I liked that far more than it switching back to the WM 6.5 start menu, and I tried installing the "Manila Start menu" cab after flashing but it didn't work, leading me to believe something is overwriting that.

I used (from Calk's kitchen, besides the apps):
Quote:

Applications System - Menu Enhancement 1.0.1911.2532
Applications System - Notification Enhancement 2.0.1914.1131
Manila - Rhodium 2.1 - Gen.Y R1.1
Manile White flip clock
Manila Engine - Rhodium 2.1.38658.0
Multimedia - Album 3.0.1914.1129.0
Phone - Tachi PhoneCanvas 4.10.34656.1
Phone Dialer - Tachi PhoneCanvas - White
System - BootLauncher 1.0.1915.2530.1
System - Concurrence Manager 1.2.1819.2826.0000
System - GSensorCalibrator 1.0.1821.2730.0
System - HTC FontLink 1.0.1913.2133.1
System - HTC Scroll 2.0.1915.3028.1
System - Resource Proxy 1.0.1915.1630.00
System - Sensor SDK 3.3.1819.2831.1
System - Shared Modules 1.01.1916.2825.00
System - SmartTouch 1.0.32417.1
System - USB to PC 2.2.1914.3124.0
Lemme know if anything you all know could help solve those three issues, because besides that this rom I've got going flies and is definitely one of the best setups ive gotten going in a while.

i'm curious about that too. i keep an eye out for the sprint one and each update has been different. for example the previous update added a roam only option in the phone settings, and now this latest one doesn't have the roam only option. just an observation. i'd say if u have a carrier cab that has worked for u, no need to update it.

Hey guys and DCD more importantly. This is a great community and I have learned alot. By the way yes I am a first time poster. I have a question. I have an Alltel HTC Touch Pro unlocked and Flashed with EnergyROM. I have Cricket as my carrier, but the problem is I can't get the Internet/MMS/Picture Mail to work. I have installed DCD Cricket Carrier cab, but its for Titan phone and not the Rapheal/Herman. I've installed it anyway and nothing ofcourse. Is there a way to get Cricket fully functional? Thanks for any help, and sorry for the Noob questions. I'm still learning. Please correct me if I am wrong about anything. I feel I may be. Again thanks for any help.

I have the HTC Touch Pro with EnergyROM, and stock Radio unlocked also with Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037
