Thank you for the tip and link -- so far no joy.

EDIT: Which tsowen pack are you using Viper?

sorry, I was using "tsowentaskbar6 WM6.5 version.cab"

but now I am using gadgetfreaks "GF Bear-Bonz Taskbar - WM 6.5.cab"

I also install

nueBatteryTPDiamondCDMA-106-v1.0-installer.exe
sdkcerts.cab

sorry not much more help but I was using tsowens with dcd's rom and NRG before. been back on DCD for a while and I think here to stay based on free ram and speed

I need to do a couple tests to confirm, but it seems possible that swapping the nueBattery in EXT for a different OEM of nueBattery might have done the trick. No idea how they might differ. I will report back soon...

Have you tried without the battery OEMs at all? Not only is the ROM already cert patched, but it's already using the appropriate battery drivers as well (has 1% increments and fast charge by default), so I imagine adding the OEMs in would only unnecessarily complicate things.

Simply put, all you need to get a custom taskbar working is the taskbar itself. SDKCerts and nueBattery are superfluous in this ROM/Kitchen.

Well, it seems that took care of it. Removing the nueBattery in EXT and adding a different OEM of nueBattery (I used the Fast Charge Battery OEM from Calkulin's kitchen) seems to be what fixed the battery icon being stuck at 100% for me. I have now tried cooking with two different versions of phcanOverbmp.dll including the one I wanted all along and they both work fine now. Hot stuff!

Thanks for the help and feedback!

Thanks for the response. I did try that first -- just adding a phcanOverbmp.dll and the corresponding registry to enable it (under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\ResOver\Bitmaps) and that's when I first saw it stuck at 100%. The taskbar dlls were fine for me, only phcanOverbmp.dll for the battery graphics was giving me trouble, and I tried a bunch of them before even looking at the battery driver. As it turned out (see above) replacing the built in battery driver may indeed have been what fixed it, even though the built in one is nueBattery which supports 1% increments and the version I put in was also nueBattery. I can't explain it -- I can only report what finally worked.

what version of htc album are you guys using? I could have sworn everything worked on this one.

-zooming
-scrolling
-menu popups etc

I went into it thru programs to switch folders and the menus pop up but do not let me select anything

I am using Album_3_0_19141129_0.cab

thanks

Do you have SensorSDK4 and HTCScroll installed? I can't recall which it depends on, but I think one of those is required for the menus to work in album and a few other places. I am using the same version as you, cooked in as an OEM.

Ah, that's my bad for not reading the last few pages, LOL. I haven't messed too much with the kitchen yet to really test anything, was just drawing assumptions from the base ROM. Good to know if I ever decide to start building up on his base.

Does it work if you are not using manilla? I have not installed SensorSDK4 or HTCScroll manually

I didn't think I did before either and thought it worked, I will see if anyone else chimes in thanks

Right on. The OEM I am using now from Calkulin's [FORMER] kitchen also has the CPL removed, so I don't know what the difference was, but it works, so it matters not. Thanks for your feedback -- I hope work didn't run you too ragged today.

DCD, in your youtube, go to the search area and open the keyboard or make it go into landscape. You'll see a small bug....
