Flashed 2.6, now I'm getting two errors when I try to add people to the fave list. First one is the one I was getting earlier. Second one is saying I don't have .net 3.5 installed.

downgrade to .net 3.5 b/c 3.7 is installed in 2.6
use config or edit registry:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NetCompactFramework\
Change 3.5 value from "0" to "1"
Change 3.7 value from "1" to "0"

I may have missed where it was located and just put the cab I have been using right over the top of it, Don't know how sashimi works in cases like that but will re-flash with new version in a minute or ten and see what happens before putting a single thing on.

ok just flashed 2.6, did not add a single thing went straight to wifi sharing, and started it, went to router running waiting for connections

on computer went to connect and it never connects.....XP netbook

Well, I have to say. 2.6 is fantastic for me. I even have 70% battery left after pretty heavy usage. MMS works flawlessly. Very stable, very responsive. One thing I noticed though is that previously when I tried to send a text, I can start typing the contacts name, and it would "pre-find" contacts with similar names, and then I used to just touch the contact I wanted to confirm. It's not on my phone anymore..is it a glitch or did you cook that in?

Hey Raid. I think I am gonna try your ROM. One question. Why did you leave out voice command? Are there compatibility issues?

I lef tout voice command because I took out everything that was not essential, trying to make it as light as possible. I am reflashing 2.6 because I want to ensure the .net thing does not cause problems, what are you trying to use that needs 3.5 and 3.7 does not work with? As I said I am reflashing right now and will see about the atcontacts... I use atcontacts all the time and have never had an issue. thanks for the good words and thank you very much for the information!
as far as visual kitchens go, can't help there. I tried visual kitchen once and was scared away... but this rom will not be able to be dumped directly because of allpackagestoone, it makes the nbh lighter.
what is it you want to change?

I do not know about texting or how it works because I use email exclusively. I cannot think why the name would not autocomplete except that I removed all t9 stuff, but that should be different... not sure about that, can anyone else offer any help?

wifi sharing... tested and it does not ever broadcast an SSID. have no idea why, will check and see what dependencies I am missing, but wifi works on the phone so I am again not sure about that. Wonder what happens when manually setting up the connection on PC. will try now.

edit:

I just flashed 2.6 again (from the rar file I uploaded, straight out of the archive) and I added contacts to the fave panel without issue.
I set up titaniumweather and titaniumradar (requires .net cf) worked without issue.

wifi router just does not work. even if you set up connection on PC manually it doesn't. will try another OEM.

If that line is a comment towards my post, I get the .net error after the atcontacts error when I try to add contacts to my fave list. Haven't gotten any other errors.

Also another thing I've noticed, in v2.6 if I click the sms bubble when I get a txt message it brings up the comm window and then from there you have to click sms again which brings up a bubble with the partial txt message in it which you can click to take you to txt messages. In v2.5 when I click the sms bubble it takes me to my txt messages.

I am not adding anything to or modifying the rom in anyway. I have redownloaded v2.5 and v2.6 multiple times now (all from megaupload, the timer on rapidshare sucks). I follow the listed flashing procedure and have yet to have atcontacts work.

Other then my apparent issues, the rom is awesome. Battery life is amazing!
