1. not sure. ask JD. As i dont use that feature.

2. As for now the "X" button on the lower screen isnt a END Task Manager, its simpily a minimize function. All programs that you open up will still run in the background even if you click on the "X" button.
- you can exit out by using the "Exit" button from the program menu (if there is)
- or you can run the "Task Manager" program to exit out the program in the Setting Folder.

3. click on the "Windows" icon on the lower left corner.

4. Kitchen - Read the first page.

Thanks. When I hit the "Windows" icon it only takes me to the program list, it does not take me back to programs that are running.

I read the first page about the kitchen, but it seems to be for the build that JD put out on 090409. I thought with each new ROM it would have the new kitchen.

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.10)

Looks like I'm going to have to give this new build a test drive. Thats a descent amount of positive feedback.
Anyone noticing any significant slowdown with Manila2.1 as its not in ROM?

I recommend setting this awesome program as your Long-press Send Key. Unlike TaskManager it does not chew up cpu while inn background. Shows as 1K worth of prog too.
And trust me... you want this without "x-enhancement." All that does is put a quick menu back up where the X used to be and gets in the way of the taskbar.

...or Start > Settings > System > Task Manager
Once in Task Manager select the program you want to switch to and select menu > switch to

the first one is easier and quicker

1. long press send key

2. use the settings/system/taskmanager

3. same as 2.

4. no kitchen for this build I only will release a kitchen if I feel like the build is stable enough for it and this one still has some features being added that make it not ready for that

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.10)

ok my feedback with 23047 ------ even though I added ezinput with the last beta I am gonna remove it again as msft still has not fixed the shell to allow sip changing yet (even though they did at least fix the sip height) also I like the start menu but I think I'd like it even better if they grouped the icons like vista or xp it just makes things easier to find .... so in my next releases the start menu will get a clean up like past roms as for the rest of the added HTC ui it will also be removed like the usb popup it works ok in this build but not flawless like I like so I plan on keeping things clean until the 6.5.1 builds are finalized .... also this weekend I will be going thru the cabs that I posted and cleaning the junk ones out and updating the ones that may be compatible with 6.5.1 most of the removed ui can/will be found there

If you tap and hold the keyboard softkey, it will bring up a menu and let you change it.

Thanks JD.

I noticed that the AudioBooster, QuickGPS, and MP3 Trimmer won't open after you install the .cab. It states that "Either it is not signed with a trusted cert, or one of its components cannot be found"

Also the youtube cab won't play videos and G-Sensor won't activate.

thats cause because when I made the cabs for those apps I had a different set of drivers since all this has changed I may need to change out those apps
