The "Flash light for" option is not selected, and it is grayed out, HOWEVER it still flashes when I get new text messages.

Is there any way to disable that? I do not want my lights to flash when I get a new text message.

I am almost always at a computer with internet and I use Google Voice for my text messages and don't want to have to take out my phone and dismiss the notification each time I get a new text.
I'll see what I can do

IMO it is very much an upgrade but to each there own. I just don't see why people down talk people who do want the upgrade. If you don't want it then don't get it simple as that don't try and down talk us or tell us how stupid we are for getting it lol.

I wasn't speaking directly to you i was just speaking in general. Some people are bashing others because they don't feel it's an upgrade and a waste of money. All i'm saying is why do people care of make these comments when it doesn't concern them. If you don't like it don't buy it we don't need you to explain yourself. It's my money to waste and as i stated above i feel it's definitely an upgrade.

Awesome! Thanks!

I did figure out that removing "AvailableOptions" from the sub keys under HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications enabled all options, but still, regardless of the settings it will still flash.

Hope you can figure it out. It's not really that bad of an issue, but I am just concerned about battery life if I don't dismiss the notification, with the leds flashing constantly.
