It appears that both of you are on the right track, but I am wondering if some of the "beta" releases that you have been coming out with are in reality fairly stable? I understand that they are marked as "beta" simply because they have not been placed through the ringers yet. Any thoughts or comparisons from users who have tried both ROMS? TIA!
ok to clarify .... everthing that I am doing so far is beta ... until msft\htc officially releases a "shipped" ROM to work off of everything that I do is classified as beta because as of right now every build of 6.5 is beta ... when I release a so-called non beta ROM it's because that was the most stable I have made my base to work with 6.5 .... as is our devices are designed around a low level version of 6.1 and mostly htc's software what I am doing is trying to design my ROM around 6.5 and stabilizing it to work with my base and our phones so thats why my roms went clean because most of the htc software that comes with the phone will need to be updated for 6.5 what you are seeing most chefs do is chase after the lastest and greatest apps to go with the fresh new build but haven't realized that its their base and those latest oems that give their rom bugs .... I've tried "energyROM" and I was impressed by how much detail went into making sure that most of the UI and apps play well and how greatly polished it looks , that is a well put together ROM and probably one of the better ones that I have tried I've tried Mighty and its ok for a beginner user that doesn't wanna run a stock but whats the stock feel I've tried juicy which is well put together but had some minor detailing issues that I'm very anal about (ezinput 2.1 graphics overlapped in landscape lol) but its a good ROM but where I stand is my base ROM not to be compared to DCD who also provides a base ROM but I believe that if you are gonna run a "alien" os on your phone you should run it clean then add what will work well for you ..... I hope that answers your question at hand ..........

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (new beta post 5)

I don't know what it is about 23409, but I have a problem expanding the top title bar. I have to be very deliberate, even using my nail and/or stylus. I didn't have this issue at all on 23041. I can press up there and it seems to bring up the big taskbar buttons every time.

I noticed this on other people's 23409 as well. Anyone else noticing anything like this?
