That's understandable. Assuming those kinks get worked out (which I have no doubt we will), what do you think of it so far?

BTW, some of the included apps are uninstallable in Remove Programs, but as it is right now it would be a bad idea to remove either SecondToday or TouchFlo Detacher, I don't have my scripts check to see if they don't exist yet (for starting Manla, and Switch Desktop). I'll update the scripts to account for that in a future release.

so far most everything i normally run is working. even the htc rodium weather (which for some reason i thought you guys posted that it wouldn't work is why you didn't include it??)

still issues with the video stuff. when i recieve a video mail, i can't play it directly from there. i have to download it and use a different program to play it. which is rather annoying.

and for some reason, i'm having a heck of a time with it crashing activesync. it will connect but within a few minutes, crash it. it's odd.

No, what we had to take out was the Weather Database Editor, which lets you edit the cities you can pick from.

Sounds like maybe we don't have the file associations set up right for videos? I tested the MMS with a picture, didn't think to test with a video.

ActiveSync not working... Hmm, problem on the phone end, or the PC end? With EVERY rom I've used, I've had an issue at times that I had to connect the phone to the computer, then go into Device Manager on the PC and delete the driver for the phone... disconnect the USB, connect it again, it reloads the driver, and AS came back up.

Does anybody know why email would stop working?
Its driving me crazy.

I get a message to check that i have network coverage and that account information is correct.
I checked everything and it really should be working.
It was working last night.

Maybe you went into roaming, and you don't have it set up to download when roaming, or even allow data when roaming?

Also, for Sprint, there is Start/Settings/System/Update PRL, and Start/Settings/System/Update Profile, might try those out. They don't always seem to work, but that's not a rom issue, that's a Sprint Network issue (because they sometimes DO work).

i am adding custom cities on mine. how is that different from what you're taking about?

i found the problem with the ActiveSync. for some reason, my version had a glitch. i uninstalled and reinstalled and problem solved.

edit. added the program i'm using.

Interesting... I didn't know we had a way to put custom cities in. Where do you do it?

Ah, thank you for attaching that. We had an older version before, not compatible with TF3D2.

I did a search, and found there is a newer version of that program here:

This is a much better program than we were using when we were using TF3D... I believe the one we were using was called "Weather Database Editor." I'm adding this one in for the next release now.

odd. it says in the posting on XDA the you have to shut down touchflo before accessing the program but on the version that i posted, i never had to do that. i didn't on the Elite Rom either.

edit. OH COME ON!! i posted a file to do something that wasn't supposed to be able to do and i only get ONE thanks??? where's the love????

Seems that post wasn't updated... changelog says that is no longer necessary.
