I've wasted all day trying to figure this out and thus far I have been unsuccessful.

I'm attempting to extract the optimized XIP from Mighty/Slience ROM and putting them in Calcu's kitchen.

How can i achieve this? Given that I'm using Calcu's kitchen, I'd like to learn how to work with XIP using his kitchen.

I tried reducing the OS.nb.payload but keep getting the same 85+ meg file. I wouldn't be surprised if i'm doing everything wrong. can someone school me please?

Would Mighty and Silence release the XIP for others to cook? or better yet release a kitchen of their own! that'll be hizzot!

nswenson, did you see my reply to you about the program tab freezing? Make sure these are set. I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to upgrade to Rhodium but I could be wrong....

Hey Mike,

I might be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure cdma_rssi_ppc.dll contains the icons for the signal bars, not the network type. That's found in tapres.192.dll. I'm trying to dump that file out of your MR4 ROM right now since it works, but it's giving me some grief... still trying though!
