use advance config tools > menu > more settings > connections > tap DATA, make sure there is a green check mark next to it (might have to tap 3 times to get the check mark) then look down where it says Disconnect, check mark the box and set it for however long. this will disconnect your data when it idles for X amount of seconds/minutes.. it will not effect calls, texts or emails so your good to go =]

Id say check your calls after doing this. Everytime I done that it messes up the registry so when your data is open its hard to answer calls. its changes suspend resume to gprs instead of the #777 that you need.......

so DCD's rom crashd twice before the test was through, but was looking pretty speedy before doing so.

That's not a bad idea at all. I definitely want to start reviewing ROMs as much as possible, dunno if I want to start doing head to head comparisons yet, though. Hm, I'll definitely think about it. I think it'd be an interesting post.

i would just do as follows (since ur an objective 3rd party)

download Virtual Spaghetti Benchmark2007 (free- but discontinued)

after a fresh boot on each rom;

- do not install anything other than VSBench
- settings > system > power > disable the auto dimmer
- settings > today > disable all today plugins
- soft reset
- wait a until all boots up...
- run vsbench
- collect the scores from \\program files\vsbench\result 'folder'

draft an excel sheet and take a screen cap

Just started working on my spreadsheet with a clean install, 2809 on the first run of VSBench2k7 on a VZW TP, not to bad.

gonna flash to the updated version and will p ost on the bugs i found with the keyboard. also where can i get the default tones for the tp? some that i use are not in this rom.

this is to confirm that I loaded the new rom on page 17 and the keyboard issue is STILL THERE. After about 10 to 15 minutes of use once you switch from horizontal to vertical or vice versa it minimzes your window from the screen, after soft reset it worked again.Besides that I did not find anything wrong with the rom. It is blazing fast
