wondering how do I get SMS / MMS app just as you did with the Contact app in Start Menu. I prefer it over the HTC version any day.

issues i found:
vibrate for text messages wont work if you don't have sound & vibrate enabled for text messages.
Also, onscreen keyboard needs slight modification because the litters are off the keys a bit.

1) You didn't say which ROM you're using, but you've likely got some programs running in the background that you're not aware of. Use one of the built in task managers to see what's going on (don't close stuff unless you know what it is & does). Or, just reboot the phone, let it settle & check memory usage again.

2) It should be as simple as cutting & pasting the shortcut using File Explorer. Look in Windows > Start Menu etc.

I'm using Dinik Glass 29022.
Okay, there is a program for Contacts, but where is the program for SMS? I don't want to use the HTC SMS and It takes too long to press the message notification icon and then press See All next to start button.
Any ideas?

Will that replace the messaging icon on my touch pro? I need confirmation from someone that the SMS shortcut cab actually works on TP. I don't want to mess up any of my settings on my phone in case something goes wrong.

The cab should work on any WM 6+ phone, but I've never used it & don't need to. You don't either, that thread tells you how to make your own. If it removes/deletes a different icon/shortcut, you should be able to undo/recreate that if desired. This is not as complex as you're trying to make it.

I noticed that my MMS Picture Mail doesn't work!!!... my phone shows that it is sent, but the person who I am sending to isn't receiving and it isn't on the Sprint website either!!? Help!!

Also, if I am the one receiving picture mail, it appears as a number 916******* instead of the contact that sent it to me in my inbox, and the time it was sent is wrong.

I read that setting up my MMS server settings may fix this issue for MMS. How do I do that?
