First, you're in the TP thread, you really want the TP2 thread, but I do have some info & questions for you:

Also, check your "Drafts" folder for Outlook & text messages, are there a bunch of drafts accumulating in there? That's another quirk I've noticed on this build. |

When I try the latest on my Verizon touch pro, I have some major issues.
When I try the titanium 21916 it installs fine but the volume buttons go up and down instead of adjusting volume. I can't find a way to adjust volume at all. Is this intentional? When I try the 29020 build it gets stuck at the "please wait, phone starting up" screen and never boots for the first time. I am using the Titanium version and setting the PP to 6 MB using the changer first. Is this build not compatible with Verizon anymore? I need a new ROM to hold me over until those dual core phones come to Verizon. If you can't fix the problem, could I have a link to some older Titanium versions please? |

I don't think anyone's been successful using NRG on a Verizon TP for quite a while (due to it's reduced memory). I'd suggest checking out the old MightyRom thread, although maybe one of the other chef's ROMs would work as well.

Re: H|May 18|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸. Energy .¸¸.·´¯ 6.5|21916 / 6.5.X|29020 * Sense 2019
I tried out the 21916 build again and somehow it works now. The volume buttons and keyboard work fine and everything. (except my keyboard cable is physically loose but thats another issue)
When I get some time outside I will test the GPS. Problem is there are still some UI issues after all of this time. Some parts of menus won't show anything, etc. Also the text message menu still acts weird when you hit back from a message. I thought MS would have fixed these by now. The permanent GUI bugs are a pretty good reason for me to get an Android phone and never consider Windows Phone in the future... The energy ROM is nice though. The question is what backup program can I use to transfer my contacts over to an Android phone? The reviews are coming in on the HTC Evo 3D and it doesn't sound too good with that old CPU (they lied about it support 1080p 2D and 720p 3D video recording, the hardware doesn't support it, and other things sound bad) so it looks like I'll be getting the LG Optimus 3D in the next few weeks (should come out first on Verizon, to coincide with the LTE launch here) I already have an OMAP4430 CPU at home to play with so I know what it's capable of already. I'd recommend everybody still on a Touch Pro to go get one. It runs full Ubuntu pretty well, HD video runs fine, has NEON instruction set, etc. I'll see you guys in the Android forums... |
This post has been thanked 1 times. |

Whoops, thanks. I'll repost there. I was wondering why I couldn't find my question in that thread.

Thanks for the followup, so what did you do to get it to work?

I just use Outlook to sync my contacts. Even when I went to the iPhone, worked fine.

May is the latest for now, sometimes we get an update a few days after the GSM builds.
