gonna try this June 1 GTX rom one more time. Please confirm that Task29 should wipe effectively prior to flashing.
Stupid phone still not answering correctly. Total PITA. People in the restaurant where I was sitting though I was going to go postal and thow it through a window. Nothing more entertaining than trying to figure out who from the corporation is trying to call you when you cant see the extension.

I downloaded the Cookie 21905 ROM yesterday and had horrible issues with not being able to open any txt messages, issues with the physical keyboard locking uop, volume button messing up, ect. It would say I had 3 txt messages yet would only show the old one in there, and wouldnt let me open it, or make a new txt message or reply to anything. I read people having this issue, is this a ongoing issue still?

I just flashed back to the stock sprint rom. Before this, I had Mightrom on it before and I didnt much like it. Im not sure if i should try to reflash the Energy again. Has this issue been fixed?

I tried to Task29 and it keeps saying that ActiveSync cant establish a USB connection. This is what I am doing

Boot into Bootloader by Holding the DOWN volume, holding the Powerbutton down and soft reset with stylis. Then I connect the USB cable, the screen on the phone changes to USB, but then it gives me the active sync error. What am I doing wrong?

when you are in bootloader mode, activesync wont recognize it. but, you dont have to put it in bootloader mode. starting the flashing after an activesync connection, will automatically put you in bootloader mode, and start the flash for you.

the only reason you would go into bootloader first, is if you did the task29 flash, and it wont boot up past the splash screen.

EDIT: you can be in bootloader mode, connect via USB, and still flash, without having an activesync connection.

Ok, I saw on the twitter page that he fixed the txt message issue so I went ahead and Hard reset, and then installed the Energy.HERMAN.21905.Sense2.5.Cookie.Dinik.Glass.Ju n.07 .

Now I am having data connection errors. It wont connect to Data at all. I tried to turn it on in thr settings but I get this error " DATACALL FAILUE. Error Code 67 m Error Code 67 Registration. Your PCS Vision Username and/or password may be incorrect.

I dont know what this means. Ive only seen this one time and thats when I first got boost mobile and was adding this phone to Boost and had to wait a few days until it was active. Im not sure why im getting this error now. Did the hard erase or install of this ROM maybe erase the BOOST settings from my phone?

Had something similar but mine just kept saying something along the lines of 'could not open data connection. please end the current call and try again'. Turned Airplane Mode on and off and it fixed it for me.


Only problem I've had so far is that the phone makes no noise when it has received an MMS message. Lights up and wakes up, but no notification sound. Assuming for now that it is something I missed on setup though.
