Hey ThreeFaces . . . another quick question . . .

. . . just got around to configuring Sashimi. To set up MMS, your guide says to install the "Remove Picture Mail & Arcsoft.cab" soft reset, then install "JD Arcsoft 5.2.1.22.cab", then reset. Will Sashimi install these in this order with the soft resets, or do I need to do this manually? Thanks!!

Just found a cool little trick for times that your home screen doesn't correctly adjust, leaving your bottom tabs partially cut off...tap the gap underneath the top taskbar (sometimes you can see "Launching HTC Sense") and it automatically fixes the problem rather doing a soft reset. =)

I've always done it manually. That's only for configuring MMS. If you don't use MMS, there's no need to do the dance. If you want it though, I've always done this manually.

If you're feeling lucky, give it a shot with Sashimi. ...a little trick with sashimi - the cabs are installed in alpha-order, so rename them "1-cabname", "2-cabname", 3-cabname", etc to get them to install in a custom order.

Is there any way to get the older style of texting messaging? This new one on the latest build is driving me insane.

+1 for HTC Peep. That's the only reason why I like 2.5. I wish there was a stand-alone cab / app so we can install HTC Peep on 2.1

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28011/21884) |Dec 4| Sense 2.1 and 2.

well i have my sms/mms working on my touch pro using 28011_09.Dec.2009_M2.5. Takes me about 10-25 seconds to receive the mms when someone sends it to me or if I send it to them. Haven't had any problems with it yet ..
Did the same steps that I had previous did on the older 2.5 but just so happens haven't had any problems yet.
Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging 1.2, soft reset, JD Arcsoft 5.2.1.22, soft reset. I first installed MMS Fix (M2.5) (Sprint) (Valkyrie) but don't think that has nothing to do with the fix though (just haven't removed it yet).
