ThreeFaces: It took me about 30 minutes to setup Sashimi, but I have yet to actually test it. There's a few programs I couldn't back up though. Yea, I saw your post...when I say 2-3 hours, I meant my entire config [lots of manually exporting reg entries] and then testing with several hard resets to see if it everything worked, and then which programs would cause the auto install to stop. Like Personalizer used to stop SASHIMI and ask what you wanted the carrier name to say. Same with Telenav...it will stop SASHIMI and ask if you want to reboot. GAlarm will stop SASHIMI and ask if you want to install a few random features. I took all of those programs out and install them manually. My goal with Sashimi is full automation so I can set the phone down and pick it up when its complete. then I manually install the four or five programs that are left and I'm gold.

...but yea, check into Murducky's Thread for those settings - I don't have them set up and don't *think* you can back them up. ...and give that dude some thanks!

Haha, I notice after different tries with 21864, it finnally stayed rining after using ALL three suggestions:
1- Turning on BOTH "pocket mode" & "Quiet ring on pickup"
2- install a Tachi
3- install my previous cab I am reposting below for a temp fix untill NRG changes his dialer...

I crached my dam windows like "indagroove" & had to install Linux to view & transfer my files over to my USB harddrive.
I am hating my Vista but it iz a necessary evil...
Time to try windows 7 or a modded Xp
Will B keeping Linux as well I didnt realize how dam good it has gotten.

Would be nice if I could make a script to do those reboot presses, but it doesn't bother me that much. I'm less about automation and more about not worrying if I forgot to install a program and be somewhere and need it. I do need to give him thanks. You are correct, according to his thread, those cannot be backed up.

Maxx: Windows 7 rocks. I've been using it from my MSDN subscription for a few months now and absolutely love it!

thnx 4 suggestion, & as I recall, for any personal changes you want to track down, you can do a comparison of the registry against the same rom thats been hard resetted.
I dont recall but know there are at least two programs out there that will let you compare side by side & highlight the differences in the registry.
Then you can put those reg changes in your sashimi.
You can grab alot of personal settngs for programs this way.

OK...I think we're going to see a new ROM very soon. I tested a new version of 21869 with 2.5 from NRG and I have to say, this jam is the jam.

What works:
--First...STYLUS OUT! Haha...any long time NRG fan will be pleasantly surprised.
--Ringers...hey!
--Youtube Application
--Opera 10 is default
--Physical keyboard buttons...even TXT and Envelope keys [Internet button does not launch Opera...VERY easy fix]
--website previews in the internet tab
--hotmail config works without disabling sense
--advanced CDMA phone settings *should* be cooked in now [my version didn't have them, but I gave them to NRG, so if not this release then next. we have the files if people need them]
--No blank screens...yet?

What doesn't work:

--MMS still requires the dances we've become familiar with when using the HTC Messaging App.
--vibrate on call connect

There may be some other little things that I don't use that may have bugs, but so far, I think I would stand on this ROM as a daily use 2.5...for users that are into 2.5.

I don't kow the dudes plans for the other builds he mentioned, but we should be seeing this one today/soon/now?
