I haven't tried the new NRG rom but you should be able to press and hold the power button to turn the device off.

Mine is superfast, it must be something with your phone or maybe just do a hard reset. This is very fast.

You do not need to install the carrier cab. Go to the touch pro cdma upgrade root forum. and on this post, there is a paperclip just to the right of the writing, it will open a window in a new window, look through there. There is a few files that you want called Sprint Update PRI and PRL icons...somethign like that. However, DO NOT run that PRI, or you will have major probs.

why do i need to turn my phone off? change sd cards or just turn it off without taking the battery out, is that good enough? psyki, it doesn work, trust me.

i also have a "update profile"cab that works fine for roms, all roms ive flashed so far.

As I said, just a question. Was curios because I've not once had to turn my phone off, ever. Why do you turn it off to change sd cards?

I turn my phone off when I go camping or otherwise am away from power for longer than flightmode can handle. There's always PSShutXP if you want that functionality.

Sorry to post yet again, everytime a program tries to access GPS I get a soft reset. Smartphone tracker, sprintNAV, TeleNAV. Can anyone check theirs and see if it works? I don't know whats going on, I did the whole back to stock flash dance. and 3 hard resets before starting to config.
