On my phone for some reason, a 32MB pool does not work good at all. I used the Page Pool program and downgraded the PagePool to 8, After that... there was no problem, at exception with the autoconnect situation. I was having the same freezing experience wihen I first flashed the first time.

Well, to be honest... I wasn't using User Customization when you asked the question. I did, however, have a healthy collection of configuration files and .reg files on my storage card and had gotten the whole re-flashing process down essentially to a mindless series of 'Enter' presses. I was looking for a way to automate the whole thing when you posted the UC link and, since then, I've built quite a hefty XML file (I'm an out-of-work Software Engineer, so I may have been a bit over-zealous.)

While information on RunCC is proving to be a bit harder to find, Sashimi appears to do what I need--I'll look into that. Thanks!

Also, solid work. Two issues so far:

1. SmartTouch doesn't work in Opera
- works in everything else I've tried
2. Opera Bookmarks doesn't work (tapping the star does nothing)
- It is still possible to open the bookmarks
screen from Touchflo: 'Bookmarks'->'Edit'

(These are fair trade-offs for the speed improvement on this release of Opera, however.)

and something else that has been an issue for quite a while:

3. HTCAlbum orientation is a bit screwy
- I understand that the G-sensor may be intentionally
disabled for the album (and I'm glad, given the
behavior of the stock rom) but it appears to want
to display pictures in portrait while giving me the
menu in landscape

Overall, all minor issues. Kudos and much thanks for your hard work. I'm looking forward to the SIP cab as I am one of the people who prefer one-handed typing in T9 with the Phone Keypad for short SMSes.

Found an issue.... sorry to report this...

Has to be with EZInput 2.1

When I am trying to text messages... the keyboard it uses by default is the WWW one. Not alowing me use the space since the space bar does not appear on the WWW keyboard. but instead the .com and the / are were supposed to be the space bar.

AWESOME ROM! I have a Verizon TP which is stripped down from a RAM perspective compared to the Sprint/AT&T TP, and this ROM 0402 is VERY fast!

One question: I know that the port has been having a lot of issues with the Programs Tab. Is that why you didn't include it in 0402?

Btw, LOVE the icons (Slider and Taskbar)!

I don't know about the first two issues mentioned, deck will have to deal with those... but as far as the HTC Album, that's how it is on the Touch Pro2. Pictures that are displayed in portrait for best fit are in portrait while the menu is in landscape. I think this is a feature of the manila 2.1 and not a bug....

More on the issue regarding the EZInput 2.1

It seems when you use opera browser and enter an url, that keyboard get stuck any other subsequent text, sms, etc etc. That's part is really anoying sorry . When you reset the phone, using the clear phone, even the keyboard is stuck there

The first two is because he is using the Opera 9.7 build from the leo and opera 9.7 probably doesn't work with the book marks using manilla 2.1 as well as smart touch that would be my guess. You also won't be able to zoom with the touch sensitive dpad. Like the above poster said about number 3 would be correct. There is nothing wrong with Album thats just the way it's suppose to be.

I say until we dont get a Open release of Opera 9.7... we stick with Opera 9.5 that seems to work flawlesly on Manila 2.1

but is jut an opinion of a N00b.

Hey T.... did you manage to sneak on your Husband's Phone?
