so i was curious to see what was in his cab, but as i suspected, its a version of 2.0. NOT 2.1 it doesnt have the new t9 and abc functionality.

Hey Deck, do all the keys on the h/w keyboard work right now on 0305? Having a real keyboard, I never use the SIPs and almost always try and disable them.

that is actually 1 of 2 keys that are still broken. Enabling the other sip's (Compact qwerty and dialpad) and correcting the T9 and ABC functionality, i had to remap the whole hardware keyboard. I fixed all keys but the following...

I am still working on fixing those 2 keys, but i was told it would be impossible. who knows, and btw, those symbols are easily obtained from the symbol menu i have 0305 Stuffed ROM completed, working on the others then i will upload them and release 0305. this rom will be for the everyday use, no BETA in any way. it is back to 23017 as per the latest sys without the new GUI enhancements, (bottom start menu button, etc...). I will continue to release a few betas of builds on the new sys. I just dont feel that they are ready for any real releases yet. who knows tho, maybe in the future... stay tuned for a new release, and dont forget to donate for my new tp2 doesnt anybody want my kitchen files?

Once those keys work again, it will be perfect! Suprised to see you're using the 23017 build. Finally ditch the new style WM from all the strange screen bugs in just about every program thanks to Microsofts inability to calculate two widths? LOL

Thank you for all your hard work! Us TP users with 18 months to go till upgrade will miss your roms.

And by the way, if I wasn't currently unemployed, I'd straight BUY the kitchen files! ME WANT KITCHEN FILES! Oh well, at least I've got a good stable build thanks to you. Hope a bunch of thank yous helps! Keep those kitchen files around for a few months. If I manage to get gainfully employed, I'll want to buy them.

Killer man! You're an outstanding guy! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have a hobby. I can't wait to see the kitchen files available so I can keep the hobby alive! You'll of course get full credit when other people with TPs ask how I made it do that. And as far as you not abandoning the TP, I WANT TO BELIEVE! But if I had a TP2, I wouldn't give 2 craps about that TP laying in my drawer. LOL
