ok i have been horsing around with sprint tv again. I am beginning to think it is sprints networks end. There are channels that always work, no matter what i.e. weather channel, and there are channels that never work, i.e. most of the fox mobile chans. my conclusion...

LOL at SPRINT TV IS PO$. I agree. I'll keep working on it, though. Did you see the post I mentioned about the missing "next" button in the mail setup? Also, is there a quick fix for the screen going to sleep while you're on a call?

ok,, at this point i wondering if im the only one this is happening to...

first of all i have a clock issue where when the phone is restarted the clock goes back an hr all by itself, so for example if its 10:30pm and i restart the phone, the time is now 9:30pm, and i have to adjust it every time.

im not sure if this "issue" has anything to do with my next issue, but i thought id mention it just in case.

my main issue is this.
when texting someone, whoever it is, the chat log is going smooth, once the phone is reset(heres why i mentioned the clock issue) i get texts normally: time wise, but when i send, my text goes somewhere back in time:

short example of what i managed to catch:

me: text1 10:00pm
them: reply1 10:01pm
me: text 2 10:03 pm
them: reply 2 10:06pm
me: text 3 10:07pm
PHONE IS RESET

them: reply 3 10:10pm
them: reply 4 10:13pm
them: reply 5 10:17pm etc

if i scroll up

me: text x 9:15pm
me: text 4 10:11 pm
them: text x 9:17pm
me: text 5 10:19pm
me: text x 9:19pm

i know it might be complicated to understand, but its really irritating...
is there a fix for this maybe, or does it have to do with the time thing

You shouldn't have to disable network time sync, when the clock rolls back an hour just go into Start->Settings->Clocks & Alarms and change the time there. If you change it from the Worldclock it will always roll back one hour after soft-reset due to daylight savings issues.

[QUOTE=tgmuhammad;1049656]I'm running a taskbar. It seems to be working nicely. Only icon that didn't change is the "EV"

Did you put the taskbar on before or after you tweaked the registry to get the clock from the top? When I put the taskbar on that I have, it just puts the icon, nothing else. It doesn't tell me the percentage my battery is at. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

you must be missing a step somewhere bc i have no issue and others that followed my steps have no issue try it again just follow every step and make sure you reset the clock and alarms time zone twice before and after the world clock.

I added the taskbar after tweaking the registry. Mine is working, battery percentages and all. Did anyone figure out the issue of the screen going to sleep during phone calls?

That was getting to me as well! I use a program to control this, it works really well! When the phone is near your face, it turns the screen off. When you want to enter keys(like when your checking your bank account or call about credit card info) it lights the screen back up.

This app is a collaboration between 600GOL (of changeScreen fame) and Steve Pritchard (of the lesser StartTomTom fame).

For the record, I've figured out what's causing my facebook issue; Showaco All Tabs BG. Without that, it "works" just fine. I quote that due to the fact that it has the "connection failed" dialog, and that it won't link any of my contacts (Yes, the names are spelled exactly the same). But at least I can get to the dialogs now. Annoying, but certainly not a deal breaker given all of the rest of the awesome that this rom provides. :)

The other thing that I noticed is that a lot of the dialogs for various tf3d2 have off dimensions when put in to landscape mode; nothing lines up quite right with them. One example is the facebook credentials dialog, another is the contact dialog.

And I'm still seeing the grayscale dialogs for the Settings tab dialogs. Has anybody else seen that?

And I close with: Deck, thanks a million! As a software engineer myself, I understand that hearing praise is pretty rare, and you generally only hear about something being broken. While I am reporting issues, I do wholly appreciate your effort. :)

Firstly, this Rom looks efn SEXY.

Now, before I decide to take the leap to WM6.5, my query is as follows:

How well does my current PIM Backup for WM6.1 integrate with WM6.5? Will the contacts, texts, and "personal data" (basically the My Documents folder) restore well?

that is all

I use PIM Backup as well, and had no problems moving from 6.1 to 6.5. Take the dive!

The reason you see the misaligned images is because TF3D2 was ported from a device with a higher screen resolution, and not all of it has been able to be resized yet.

I too have seen what you mean about the greyscale stuff in the settings instead of having the green sliders. I think this is just a more current version, and not so much anything being wrong.

We are all waiting for a TF3D2.5 port that is around the corner, hopefully once it's finished it will be better adapted to our screen resolutions.

Hey spidrweb, if you want to fix your clock the right way you have to set your time zone like deck and everyone else is telling you. You cant fix your time the right way from the world clock in tf3d, you have to go in to you settings from the start menu.

okok, youre not getting me... first of all please dont think im mad, if i sound like it coz im really not,, im just trying to explain,,,

i did that, start>settings>clock&alarms> and set everything from there... but when i reset it still went back one hr..

then whatsleft4her told me the way he does it all the time(the way deck posted on the front page of this forum,, thank you deck btw) and that worked perfectly, i can restart the phone a million times and it will stay good now because i did it that way, i dont know why, but it works. so my "issue" is fixed.

i really realy do apreciate all you trying to help me, but if it works theres no point in keep telling me to do it that way coz im not gonna touch the clock again till i messes up. but thank you.
