Battery indicator on the taskbar or BUST. The best rom I used yet, but with the most annoying issue. I mean whats the point of having two clocks on the home screan and I have to go through some loops just to check my battery level. This is the only rom that does that. Your typical reg edit and settings to hide the clock on the taskbar does not work either. Can anybody help? thanks.

Here - it's posted a few pages back - I didn't like that myself, and these reg settings work fine.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskBa r]
"LimitedClock"=dword:00000001
"ConsistentClockOrBattery"=dword:00000001

These ref edits worked for me as a test but I use a little program that puts a 3 pixel line along the top that shows me battery level in all programs.

Different strokes for different folks.

Yardizidifer, I'm glad we have some peeps that frequent this thread that were able to help you with your issue as seen above, but I also decided to respond in order to give a little clarity. As I've stated before, only two pages back, and I'm cutting and pasting it here: "deck has stated numerous times that in WinMo 6.5 the clock is meant to be in the taskbar, and that the battery only pops up in the taskbar after your battery power has dropped below 50%. So, he leaves it to everyone to tweak their own devices by using a reg edit, if they'd like to see the battery in the taskbar at all times..."

The fact that you asked "Can anybody help? Thanks" is commendable, but I thought the way you led into your question was kind of rude. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to flame you or anything. I just think that when we pose questions we should try to pose them in the best of manners, since we are here getting all the benefit of deck's intellectual property for the very low price of "nothing."

I hope you're not offended, but I felt like it needed to be said.

thanks everyone for your help. I didn't think I was being rude. Its just that everytime this issue comes up the first answer from everyone is "oh this is 6.5 issue". I've used all the 6.5 rhodium roms (juicy, energy, psyki........) and deck's is the only rom that doesn't have the battery indicator. So I was trying to find a more solid answer than just a guess. Once again I apologize if I offended anyone. And thanks all for your feedback. Oh yeah last but not least this is the best TP rom in my opinion.

Well ****. The actual phone function stopped working just now on 300 b6. Neither the hard buttons nor soft buttons will work to bring up the dialer and when I get a call I cant answer it! :( The lights flash but nothing pops up. Oddly enough, data still works. Any ideas out there so I can avoid hard reset:

I posted the above RegEdit on Saturday or Sunday. It does help if you search some.

I use the RegEdit and it's fine.

Yes, finding it can sometimes be a Pain, but that set of tweaks is posted a NUMBER of times here. (I posted it in this thread because I couldn't find it again).

Yea, I know it can get frustrating when your phone isn't running like you want it to and it seems no one's giving you a straight answer to your question. I've been there...

In some previous versions, deck did have the battery in the taskbar, but it's really important to him to be true to the stock when he builds a rom. So, since WinMo 6.5 has clock in the taskbar, he decided to let it ride that way and let the user customize the phone how they like. Like in his beta6, I thought the slider icons were 3rd party, cuz in the videos I'd seen of manila 2.5 there were no colorful icons, but he clarified that the icons are from manila 2.6, which I hadn't seen. And further stated that he doesn't put anything in his roms that aren't stock.
