Coooool if memory was way low.... but i'd have to ask... specifically, what memory do you feel is at the low%? progRAM? Storage? etc...? Can you provide some screen shots? Sorry, but compared to the last best thing (Mogul) it's still got TONS to spare!

A couple things I walked away with/ learned from this thread... WKTask, I used to be a huge magic button person as I HATE not having one click screen change & I switched as Sac turned me on to Wktask. Also, inadvertenly, how to change & use iphone today & second today.

One other tidbit.. some of the apps included were not the norm avg run of the mil, got me thinking.

new to cooking so im sorry if this is a dumb question:

if i click on the "Erviuskitchen.exe" i get " initialization error "

and then windows tells me " Erviuskitchen.exe has encountered a probmem and needs to close .." ect...

any ideas? running windows XP

Program Memory, don't / haven't had the rom on in a while so I wouldn't be able to get you a screen shot, but it was a few builds back. I haven't been able to cook a successful rom with kitchen 11 or 12, but as Bear pointed out I might've been able to had I not upgraded my version of windows.

Coolsac, I do anxiously await a new release as always, though I continue to post to try and find help with the odd errors I have been having, not necessarily from you but from other users here that are working with the same file set. Though any help you can give is more than appreciated. That being said...

Sorry I meant to reply earlier...I have experienced this problem when running in xp mode and I believe its either you need to right click and tell it to run as administrator or you need to install the .net framework on you computer with the windows update, make sure you get them all 1.0 1.1 2.0 3.0 3.5 -- I hope this helps.

So i assume this chef has hung up his TP hat, too bad since as far as I can tell none of his kitchens worked in the last few releases. Well coolsac enjoy your TP2, if anyone ever figures out how to get this kitchen to work, please PM me.

Good to know, what os and sp do you build with after you completed your last kitchen? I have been using an official win 7 release, server 2008, and XP sp3...(all fully updated with windows update) no matter what it errors out for me. As soon as I get people out of my office tonight I am going to try a vista ultimate machine (not sure what sp) and vista home premium machine (sp1 fully updated) and a performance XP cooked OS.
