Active Sync (direct push) is not working in this ROM. Any plans to fix? I know this is an issue in about half of the ROMS out there. Seems the chefs dont care much about it since there are few users who use it.

You use DIRECT PUSH? This is where you tie to an exchange server. I got the standard error that I get with half the kitchens and ROMS out there.

yea i connect to the utexas one maybe its your exchange you might need to go talk to the network annalist and see if your being block by chance or it could be an issue also with something on your phone.

How to Use Visual Kitchen

 
1. Select one of the "Click Here..." Batch files to start the kitchen with what every setting are pre-set 
   (if you want to build a custom rom then select "Click here to built custom...")
2. once the kitchen is up, add or subtract any thing you want by clicking true or false in the far left column only
   (dont touch the SYS, OEM, or Xip sections unless you know what you are doing)
3. click create rom and it will go through a building process
4. once done the HTCRT program will pop up
5. go to build then "L" to load the rom project
6. select SACRom in the kitchen root
7. select build and save it in the Release_Raphael folder as ruu_signed.nbh
8. once that is complete close the HTCRT and flash it
 

SAC, when I use your latest 21234 kitchen-when I get to the HTCRT pop up window- I select "L" but then where do I find SACRom in kitchen root? I have looked through all files and could not find it. Please any help is appreciated.

you should see the htcrt project file in the root of the kitchen the same folder as the EXT, ROM, SYS, OEM, etc. folders. make sure that your folder viewing options shows all files because if it isnt then it might be hidden. if all else fails you can do it manually and i will add another project file in the next kitchen release.

No, I am not being blocked. This is a standard problem with more than half the ROMS out there. Unfortunately, I have to roll the dice every time I try out a new ROM. I am not the only one who has seen this problem. Others get it too... and often the chefs say to contact the admin to have them turn off "paranoia mode." The fact is, it is a ROM issue since others work. I am using eRICE kitchen right now since his in fact works. I actually think I am going to stick with his kitchen since his allows you to select carrier. For some reason, the "carrier generic" ROMS only give me half if the internet bandwitch. ~ 600k - 800k. But with sprint specific ROMS, I hit 1400k + every time.
