I'm not sure why there is so much of a focus on 6.1 when your 6.5 is so amazing? I was hoping for a radar fix is all....lol

Anyway, It's getting to the point where it is very hard to tell which versions people are discussing.
Would it be worth it to have separete 6.1 and 6.5 threads as both are obviously very useable and of great interest?

If I remember correctly Viigo does require the old PIE version, but this error is in addition to having the require PIE version. Sorry, can't help you out with the exception above.

Yep you're right. For Viigo the IE Toggler won't work. Silence, just use the IE packages from an older SYS, I tested it and it works fine. For everyone else you'll have to wait until Silence rebuilds the rom, I'm not aware of any way to downgrade IE6 to PIE.

The IE toggler IS good for fixing the text so it's not so tiny though

My phone has been running terribly ever since I put this rom on, sorry.
You can't actually "remove" a ROM, only replace it with something else. There are many other custom roms in this forum, almost all of them are better than the stock sprint one. That is also available on this forum if you want.

Yes it does get kind of confusing when there are a bunch of different rom versions in the same thread. Everyone should just state the version of the rom they're using at the top of all of their questions.

Question Re: [May.18.09] *Silence Roms* [-6.1 -6.5 -Rhodium TP2 -Kitchens]

i'm on verizon and just got an out of memory while on the internet.
running 6.5 v 3 (did a clear mem after reboot)
changed the pagepool to 8
is it the nature of the beast (limited memory on verizon?) that i got this?
i am also running s2u2 which i guess takes up some memory , but am not too sure that by removing this, it would solve the problem.
any ideas or suggestions to try?
thanks,
charlie

Re: [May.18.09] *Silence Roms* [-6.1 -6.5 -Rhodium TP2 -Kitchens]

so then which version needs a hotfix? i downloaded last night the 6.5 kitchen and dont know if the system that needs a fix is the 6.1 or the 6.5 version. also, i personally think that yes, there should be different threads so that people dont get confused on to what rom other people are running!

Yes that is just the nature of the Verizon TP , I have done exactly the same as you , hard reset after the flash ,changed PP to 8mb and I killed the HTC dialer and I still run out of memory in Opera........ I am convinced that Verizon sucks. And IMO , s2u2 is not helping your situation.

You need to find a lighter rom or cook your own.....

Help:: For those who got the package see if you can beta test a bit for me untill 11 thx..
Been trying out the new rom and besides the two previously listed items the only other things I notice are that Google Maps is a bit outdated and upon initial boot my phone shows 43% memory usage (I'm used to 37% from R3Born). I upped the PagePool to 20 and am running Mobile Shell 3 as default (TouchFlo is disabled). Otherwise..... sweet!

Can't wait for 11PM (umm what time zone is that? )
