ive had the same issue sort of. my phone would lock up on me and everything it was horrible my phone wasnt even useable. heres what i had to do.

1.) created a gmail account and synced my contacts with it.
2.)(once synced with gmail) i flashed back to the sprint stock ROM
3.)Hard reset at least once to clear all that junk out.
4.)flash R3BORN then hard reset at least once
5.) sync up with google to put your contacts back on your phone.

the reason i had to use google was cus for whatever reason my phone would run perfectly till i used spb or pim to restore my contacts. something went wrong but it all stopped when i used google...try it out...ive actually been on this rom since May 11th and have had no hiccups what so ever. and so far i dont even see a reason for me to have to flash again thanks to MM im not having any freezing or randomly locking up. no i do use htc addicts ram cleaner and that works freaking wonders lol haha...
