It is a hardware issue not a rom. If you get the issue and switch roms the problem remains. Also the issue happens it seems mainly with sprint tp owners. Not a single verizon user has reported their touch pro keyboard stopping. Atleast Ive never seen it and follow the threads closely. Sprint must know its a hardware thing. they never give anyone a hard time giving a replacement.

Probably because there are so many more Sprint TP owners. I mean, who would want a crippled VZ TP. :p

Touche, However, My Verizon Touch Pro might have less RAM, but atleast our keyboards don't stop working and force us to get RMA's like all you Sprint users.

I've been testing your finalized Reborn update for a few days. So far everything is great except for one issue I've found that if you could either comment on or somehow fix I would sincerely appreciate it.

Since I am on the Verizon TP I always disable the HTC S2A dialer included in the ROM. With MR 4.16 even with the S2A dialer disabled, using the WM default Phone dialer, the Bluetooth ON/DISCOVERY/CONNECTED Icons always appeared in the taskbar. However with Reborn that has changed. The Bluetooth Icons disappear when you disable the S2A dialer now just like in WM6.5. Reenabling the dialer puts the icons back just like in MR5. Is there anything you can do to put them back or is there a reason they are no longer present ?

Everything else is perfect. The most stable rom ever made. I am really enjoying it. Thank you again for everything.

For anyone else with Reborn. Could you disable the HTC Dialer S2A dialer and see if your BT Icons disappear just to make sure it isn't something with my flash ? they will reappear when you re-enable the dialer, so you won't lose them.

mine has started doing the same thing, its random and happens when i'm typing fast it'll replace random letters with numbers

should i re-flash back to stock sprint and RMA?

Not True, VZ TP are suffering the same fate as the Sprint TP. Just yesterday my friend text me that his keyboard stopped working. He is on VZ.

The bluetooth icon is suuplied directly from HTC using the phcanoverbmp.dll on the s2a canvas.

Microsoft actually does not have a native bluetooth icon on the task bar which is why it does not appear when bluetooth is turned on.
