Mike, Im back on thr 06.09 release...changed the reg value you suggested..and still no web access on my lappy via the TP's BT PAN ICS.

BTW, I noticed that in the BTPAN1 registry, IP address is set to 192.168.0.x. When I connect to my lappy via BT PAN, the laptop gets assigned an address of 192.168.50.1...instead of the configured (as indicated in the registry) 192.168.0.1.

Hrmph... I am unsure of the resolution at the moment.

I will keep hammering at it.

Please try resolving it as well. This is something I can't do alone since I am not 100% sure on ics over bt.

Try that... I never ICS over BT because I just hook the cable up, but see if the second post in that thread helps you any...

Well

I am posting right now using ICS through BT.

What i did was,

Open ICS, and chose BT PAN, then phone as modem and hit connect.

I went to start > settings > connections > wifi

From there i clicked bt pan driver and manually put in my router ip. I did the same for remote dnis.

I paired my phone through "dial up networking"

and here i am browsing using my phones internet.

Now, are we still 'undetectable' (especially on Sprint

) when tethering in this fashion?

UPDATE: When tethered this way, i have internet connection on my laptop...but not on the TP.

I'm on the 6-9 ROM and still no youttube. I get connection failed each time

anyone else with this issue. the only problem with an otherwise very very nice ROM

Router IP? Where do I get this info from? I'm just using a laptop and my phone. No router.

Router IP = Default gateway...which on my device has the same IP as the device itself:

IP: 192.168.0.1
SM: 255.255.255.0
DefaultGateway: 192.168.0.1
