I noticed something different today, Google Maps in the past never would let me use My Location unless I had GPS turned on. Today I opened Google Maps and it showed me about 2 blocks away from where I was and told me I was within 3400 yards of this location. It had never done that before on previous roms, so either this is an even newer version of Google Maps, the rom now allows cell tower triangulation, or my carrier (US Cellular) updated something that is suddenly making it work.

I am thinking this is probably what the My Location Weather uses, which would explain why it shows your location even when you are in your basement.

I think when it just says "My Location" it's probably because it has determined your approx location but is probably outside of the city limits and therefore not in a city to display.

Just my 2 cents.

When I shut the screen off sometimes the face buttons stay lit up. I don't know if its just my phone or if others have seen it.

I have seen this in the previous ROM and once I think in this ROM. What you do when you notice (I'm assuming the phone is on and at the today screen if not press the "Power" button first) is press the "Phone" button then press the "End Call" button and then the "Power" button, the lights will go off.

Or just hit the Home button and then the Power and it will turn off. That's what I do.

I had this happen even with the stock Sprint ROM. Cleared it by simply turning on the screen, pressing the center of the d-pad, then pressing the power button to turn it off again. All lights went out.

ive been having issues with opera just turning off when i go to some websites...it just returns me to the home screen and isnt active in task manager. its been happening alot. and when i open opera again after soft reset it kicks me out again on the same pages... and also the search bar chooses when it wants to work (not often) ive tried enter and the mag glass on the bar both dont work...so im forced to actually go to google.com to search...

anyone else out there having these issues?

Go into Opera settings and uncheck "Enable Plug-ins" under advanced.

ya ive done that already..and the opera fix .cab...and a hard reset and a reflash..

love the new rom, but today Opera stopped working, then programs wouldn't launch. So I did a soft reset, now it hangs on the Psyki screen. I've tried to Hard reset, but no luck.
