I always just use Windows Media myself but I am open to new things. Havent used S2P for few months now.....

Start/Settings/System/Flux_Capacitor ( the little icon that looks like a Delorean ) Set date and time wished to travel. Your version doesnt have this? Cause the Verizon version does..............

I can send receive pics fine , I think its a carrier limitation of 5ook not the rom.
