Do I Have To Have Mightyrom 4.16 In Order To Install The Mightyrom5?..cause For Some Reason I Can't Get It To Flash On My Phone.

NOTHING IS HAPPENING.....I HAVE THE RUU COME UP AND THE FILE IS WITH IT. THEN IT EXTRACTS AND MAKES ANOTHER FOLDER ON THE DESKTOP AND THAT'S IT. NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS:violent2:

I don't want to sound like an ahole, but I've got to clear the basics up first...you downloaded the ROM provided which is a .rar file.... you then extracted that .rar file which has a folder call "MIGHTY5_04.25.09r"......then you ran Custom_RUU.exe? That should be the process that works....if you have Vista you may see a blinking notiication at the bottom of the screen which, once clicked on, makes you click continue for Vista's User Account Control.

Let me know if these steps were followed, and we'll go from there. :)

Ok ill ask the simple questions first.
1) when you go to bootloader screen does it say cromox (the unlock word)
2) I had the same issue when i firt started trying to flash my phone... make SURE you have the newest form of winrar installed for it to work properly.


In the folders that are extracted...what are the files in those folders?

Do this first Flash Hard-SPL[CDMA]
Then download the ROM of your choice. I use the included "Custom_RUU.exe" as opposed to the older guides suggestions to drag the .nbh file to the RUU Folder.
This worked for me...flashed multiple ROM's on CDMA Touch Pro.

Oh...and updated winRAR has nothing to do with the success factor. Make sure you have .NET Framework 3.5
