help relocking
 

i want to have USCC look at my phone because i cant connect to the internet all the time on it. i had flashed to the Mightyrom but switched back to the stock one using this rom: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=194 then followed the directions here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503 to relock it. everything seems to be working fine but when i goto the bootloaded (multi-colored screen) it says Security Unlocked at the top of the screen. anyone wanna help me here??

it always says security unlocked on the bootload screen. i'm not sure which relocker you're using, but for the sprint touch pro its only unlocked when it still says cmonex on the bootload screen.

you did it right. it's locked. .37.0000 means you are locked. if it said .37.CMONEX then you would be unlocked.

EDIT: any reason why i cant use the testing codes now? like ##DEBUG# and such? i goto phone and dial the number but nothing happens. even if i hit call it just tries to call the number rather than launch the application.

Maybe try without the # on the end. Not sure about uscc, but on alltel sometimes doing a *228 activate option would fix the ## codes not working. Or you could just open file explorer and navigate to the Windows directory and open the FieldTrial.exe file.

i tried the code without the # and still got nothing. im not sure what u mean with *228. i also looked in the windows dir and there is no fieldtest.exe file, maybe thats why it doesnt work?

does anyone know where i can download another stock USCC rom?

It's fieldtrial, not fieldtest. But yea, if you don't see it there then that is definitely why it's not working. It's included with custom roms. I don't know why it's not in the USCC stock rom. If you call *228 on your phone, you should get a recording with some options.

ah, i thought it was only in the stock roms... i only ever used it when i had the MightyROM. thanks for the help
