Phone VERY slow after sending text.

Hi all,

I just cooked up a rom for my Sprint TP using 12501, and everything is going swimmingly except for one issue. As soon as I send a text, the phone lags horrible for a minute or two. None of the UI is responsive. If I get back to Today, the finger scrolling is very choppy. It's basically unusable until it settles down doing whatever it's doing.

Anyone experience this? Any idea on how to fix it? I really like WM6.5.

Re: Phone VERY slow after sending text.

try not loading your txt msgs on your ROM, and sending a few txts out first.

This is without loading any of my old texts in. Just new ones I've been getting. It's only like 3 threads and 10 messages so far.

Do you happen to be using vistahide battery gauge? It has an issue switching between landscape and portrait mode, use DCI battery gauge instead, it's identical but it works.

I am 100% positive that is your problem. No need to recook, just remove the .lnk from your \windows\startup folder

Re: Phone VERY slow after sending text.

You were right on the money! Someone needs to mark that package as incompatible. It's awful.

Thanks and thanks again!
