Re: Clean ROM for SPB Shell 3.0

Look at Jakdillards kitchen. Very simple and the latest build. I have run SPBMS3 for the past 24 hours on it and no issues yet. Pretty sure starman built his ROMs off of JD's kitchen.

PPCkitchen also works too. It's not as simply as the other kitchens but that's what I've been using lately.

Re: Clean ROM for SPB Shell 3.0

Does anyone want to give a beginner a little class on how to cook your own rom. Or can someone point me in a direction? I downloaded SDK's kitchen and now what. I have two folders (ROM and SYS). Now what? Thanks in advance!

In your kitchen folder you should have a file called "batch" which is the kitchen and a "RUU" folder and a "TOOLS" folder. You need to copy the "ROM and SYS" folders into that folder so all 5 folders are in the same one for your kitchen to work.

SSK 1.8 - Kitchen Files
CHEFS: You must download the core kitchen and the SYS files you want
to use. Copy the ROM and SYS folders in to the Core kitchen Folder from
the SYS files download

ok, you NEED to read the description in that kitchens post....if you still dont understand how to to this, i wouldnt flash yet, and start with an easier kitchen, such as ERICE, where there is a read me file that tells you exactly how to work the kitchen......

sorry for flaming, but this is becoming a really big trend on this site.....

Re: Clean ROM for SPB Shell 3.0

Also, RSTG released a clean version of his rom, no sprint apps, but there are some programs in there....if you like something a little more tweaked...and it has SPB mobile shell pre-installed
