Re: Is 6.5 stable?
Well, I have used PhantomRom, StarROM and Copper ROM. WM 6.5 does seem pretty stable. But, after using just plain simple WM 6.5 (Copper) I felt that I really miss TF3D and so, I installed back the Rhodium manilla... Everything working great. Then, I felt the only difference betweek WM 6.1 + TF3D and WM 6.5 + TF3D that I see is the smooth scrolling, start menu and the appearance of the scrollbars. (Please tell me guys if I missed something) and I personally didnt feel that the snapier feel for WM 6.1 is worth sacrificing for these minor things. So, finally switched back to Juicy 6 that comes with Rhodium manilla.
So, my suggestion is that if you wanna try something new, intead of finding a ROM with WM6.5, find one with Rhodium manilla or even better, get a Star ROM or PhantomROm that are WM 6.5 + Rhodium manilla, or get copper and install cabs yourself and see if you still get a charm of WM 6.5.. |

6.5 has become, recently, stable.

I would say give Star Rom 6.5 a try. I think so far it is one of the most beautiful and stable 6.5 out the box. I have about 10 roms that I flash from all over the web I use on a recurring basis, and I've seen this 6.5 state and you wan't to add it to your overall collection. Might ditch it once it leaves my top 7 though. |

strangely, however, i feel like copper is smoother and a bit quicker from a strictly personal standpoint (no tests to back me up!) |
Re: Is 6.5 stable?
I like 6.5, I've been using it for the past week or so, different builds, copper/silent/JD/star, each rom for a day or two.
And then I flashed pitky 1.0, which is 6.1 with manila. I don't miss 6.5 at all!!!! And the speed gain in UI is remarkable (or should I say speed loss with 6.5...) |
