Re: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen

well folks as i said above i downloaded the new kitchen and made a rom last night. everything working great but for some reason the volume buttons are not tied to teh volume anymore, they act like the up and down d-pad buttons. that would not normally be a big issue but i am at work and teh sound on my phone is jacked to like 100% still from last night. tapping on the system bar at teh top brings up the notification window and the volume cannot be adjusted from there. does anyone know of another way to adjust teh volume? i looked in teh sound settins but didn't see anything in there. help please. i get texts all day from my wife which is usually not a big deal but i don't need everyone in the office to know when i get a message. thanks.

ok as a tip when you download the kitchen just press play on buildos without selecting or unselecting anything and make sure it works then after customize to your liking this will help you to troubleshoot better

as simple as that sounds i never actually went about it that way before. i usually just check off what i want & do not want and then live with teh outcome until your next release. i don't know how everyone has teh time to flash so much. my wife gets pissed at me each time i do it. it's always "what are you doing? are you messing with your phone again? why can't you leave it alone?" she raises a good point tho, why can't i leave it alone? i think i have an addiction, but clearly not as bad as some on here. long story even longer, thanks for the tip. i am assuming the way the kitchen loads when first opened is the way you had your phone setup for testing?

Same here buddy, she always asks me what are you doing what are all these codes flying in the cmd prmpt window.
She tells me that I was a diferent person back two years ago when I only had my fusic phone.
Go explain to her that JD keeps on providing us with great roms......lol

yeah she is always ready to complain that i am messing with it but she has no problem using the phone after i am done. once i quit using tf3d and started using 6.5 it through her for a loop, but i think she has it figured out now.
