Re: WM 6.5 Is it worth it?

6.5 is still beta and I'm sure will become a whole lot better once the same amount time and work that was placed into 6.1 goes into 6.5 . Perhaps I shouldn't have flashed to 6.5 at midnight when I was too tired to figure out how to customize it to my liking and learn the ins and outs of it LOL. I'm sure Mightymike and Juicy are cooking up something nice for their perspective ROMs and I eagerly anticipate the outcome of it.

that is entirely possible(there are cabs available), but can replace any icon with a 90x90 png as well, so eventually we will have icon customization packs with every app imaginable in it

does the old 4row cab work?

I assume it would, I never really like 4 rows though, 3 rows is nice and finger friendly, and all my subfolders are set up so I don't really have alot of scrolling to do

I have a 4 row start menu that I found the cab for on xda. It made the icons a lot smaller, but I kinda like that b/c i can get to stuff at the bottom of the list faster.

Edit: Here's the link if anyone wants to try it. It uninstalls cleanly.

I just flashed from Juicy's 0405 to copper and I must say, I was disappointed, it really didn't appeal to me in any way. It made me realize how good TF3D is..at least for me anyway, I guess it's all personal preference at the end of the day. I'll wait until a more complete version version is available before taking another look but meanwhile I'm going back to Juicy 0405H.

one example question I had was what will be used for music playing in 6.5? I ran an earlier build and it just ran regular WMP, but nothing integrating per se like TFLO3D does. To me thats a step backwards, no?

Re: WM 6.5 Is it worth it?

tf3d and things other than wmp are addons, it's an operating system... things can be added your talking about roms in general, not 6.5 as a base. 6.1 as it comes from MS has not those things
