I usually only install games and lite programs that just reference files (ebook readers) to the memory card. other than that, my card just stores media

hope that's helpful

Yes because it's not using that HTC Album program. Just using windows pic/video viewer which doesn't have those features that work like that.

Still have some doubts on what to install where?

*Sprint GPS cabs including Telenav work great in memory card.
*Total commander and advanced config on card also works.
*All pics/music/docs/ obviously are fine.

*Titanium weather does not along with costumizer cab.
*Definately Youtube and Opera does not work.

I was trying to save the least amount on device memory, I guess I will have to bite the bullet and load up my phone's storage..

Re: Copper v.0.0.0.1 [6.5.21500 Build 21500] [16MBPP] [UC Compatible]

Just got done reading the whole thread, man that's a lot of talking.
I have two slight issues with the rom. The first was referenced once before, having to click on each text for it to be mark as "read". Annoying as a single landlord, but I can deal for now.
Another hasn't been mentioned, when typing decently fast on the keyboard sometimes it will substitute a number for a letter. "hun" turns into "74n" "yay" into "4ay" that kind of rot.
Only thing I can think of is I have nullKB on here, as I d6dn't (there it is actually) notice it until after I installed it.

Great work on the ROM Mike, Juicy.
Cheers

and unfortunately that's how youre going to have to do it b/c i'm sure it has something to do with the software's programming. the only way to know for sure is to try each individual program. i just decided that the TP has enough rom in it, especially with the custom roms

Yeah there is a way to downgrade PIE. i found it on the XDA forum. You cant launch any text message or email when you do but you can access your log mein. I use it on an as needed basis so i install, use the old PIE to access logmein and do my "xmen-origins of wolverine-WORKPRINT" or other highly pirated movies" then uninstall the old PIE so i can use my text messages and email again.

I'm thinkin its not working because copper's IE doesnt have javascript? perhaps?

Here a link to the disable the new PIE and work with the old thats found in 6.1... caution people, use only when nessesssary... this not for everyone:

and here is the link from xda

i wouldn't install anything onto the storage card that altered the os, or its functionality, or that i used daily and was small enough to put on the device. i rarely install things to the memory card, and usually its just games.

Exch ActiveSync works great...Comm Manager sucks.

I cannot disable Push and when I disconnect my data session it just dials right back out again...is there a solution to this?

Is there a better Comm manager available? I have one from my Mogul days, but I'd rather install one that was intended for the TP.
I posted a good Comm Manager in post 1177 of this thread.

This is probably somewhere in the posts, but was hoping someone could tell me... is there a setting to shut off the data connection when not in use after a certain amount of time?
