There are a few clean-up options available:

1. A "reset" in which I'd archive ALL posts except for the first one (or those first few that contain all the important info).

2. A "deep cleansing" in which I'd archive most of the "debris" posts (those that just say thanks, etc.) We'd maintain those posts that have credible info in it.

Also, if you're no longer supporting a particular rom thread (e.g., you've released a newer version), let's consider archiving that as well.

You guys doing the rom work have a thankless job at times and are one of the main reasons that PPCGeeks is as big as it is! Keep up the good work!!!

Additionally, I can clean up other threads and archive posts to make threads more "user friendly".

late,
Coz

p.s., remember, the archiving/cleaning-up process will not change post count or thanks count.

Thanks Coz! As always!

MightyMikes could use a lil spring cleaning, would be good when mike releases MR5, so all the pointless is it here yet? is it here yet? gets taken care of...

Yeah, +1 to the MightyROM thread, it's 830ish pages long, it really needs a spring cleaning about now.

+1 on Mighty Thread, but not until the release so that people can do all of the "I Can't wait" stuff. Then on release it will have relevant info.

Regarding MM's thread....I think we'll hold off on cleaning things up until his new release.

Thanks,
Coz

This should happen very soon - it's almost at 1,000 pages! :???:

Re: Thread Clean-up Requests

If the mods can't save my THREAD VIEWS, i wish not to have the thread archived.

It's been archived 3-4 times in the past with the thread views saved. This time it seems not possible, i wish i achieve a 1 million views plateau :)
