i found the problem. the spj guys were using an older version from a posting from ppcgeeks. i traced it back and there was a newer version. everything is fixed now.

yo starman. great rom. it wired though some times it looks as if i have no sig but when i make a call and texts some one it as if i have full sig. just wired... great bat life like always i had 1 problem though the other day, i had 50% bat left and i turned my screen off and went to bed and when i woke up my phone was dead. but it has only done that once. i think it just might be my phone though. but all in all great rom.

I had this same issue two weeks ago, but not with this rom. I thought something happened to my phone. Same rom for about 2 months then over night for two nights in a row, full charge, wake up and it's dead. Strangest thing! It "fixed itself" on the third day and i know that isn't helpful info. Been two weeks and phone is working fine.

should I be using a different radio than what I have... im having poor battery life and someone suggested it may be that I have the wrong radio matched to my rom. I have 1.03.15F listed as Radio version.

Most seem to like telus 1.04 paired with most roms, however I have found that 1.11 works best in my area with any rom I have tried. For me, telus KILLED my battery but offered insane data speeds up to 3Mbits. 1.11 seems to give me about 1.5 to 2.0Mbits. Considering this is just a mobile the device, Ill go for slightly slower speeds for better battery.

I thought crappy battery was one of the features of these phones? You mean there is a way to get it to last beyond 4.30 - 5.00 without needing to be charged? This is the only thing I don't like about this phone, if there is a fix I am all over it.

i can't play videos. keep getting a "the source filter for this file can not be loaded".

i had this thing all pimped out when i found this. i'm about to commit hary cary.

anyone have any solutions????

That's the only reason im not using this rom right now...but if you use CorePlayer, there is no problem at all...it is included in this ROM under multimedia folder...

yep, that works.

it's odd. get this. if i install the HTC Audio Manager from a CAB, the video will start working again. But the Music Tab will give me an error. It's just the strangest thing.

it is odd. we are still waiting for starsman to fix it, but he's been out of the radar for bit now...who he is working on a new build...Glad to hear that helped.
