The new dialer doens't support the ## codes. ##PST# etc. Those take you directly to those functions out of \windows. If you need to reprogram your phone, upgrade your PRL, do a DIAG check, or do the hack that makes your phone ring quicker. All kinds of usefull stuff....

This ROM is great! I have an issue. When going to the mail tab, it becomes extremely unresponsive and nothing loads. Is there a way to fix this? I also notices it does this on the weather tab but it closes TF3D and then it re-starts....

RSTG... kinda noobish but but hey we all are once right? So tried your manila fuzeberry; loved it! at least till I messed with the page pool then it went blah withmy windows live and would hang a bit.I changed it to 16... what happened/ What does that do other than change ram? Anyway, I am loading your rhodium as I write this just wanted to say thanks and gain some understanding,got lots more reading to do but want to develope a rom of my own and will take any tips or advice along the way not ready yet anyways, but again thanks for your work...

What else have you installed? I have flashed .14 & this weekend .15 and never had an issue with the mail tab. I have only noticed the Weather tab is slow the first time you open it. Once you have a city populated it's smooth.

I am running with a 24MB PP on my Sprint is it's OH SO FAST AND SMOOTH. =D>

I am not having any of these problems. I have flashed not only my phone, but my girls phone, cause she liked the double menu option. Neither one of are having issues. Ive been on it all day. Can honestly say, other than the manilla 2 probs, no issues here. I suggest you reflash. Hard reset before, and pull your battery and wait 30 seconds before putting it back in. I do these step religously and never have weird after flash bugs. Honestly I didnt find myself having to reinstall a whole lot. Great Job.

the one question That I have is, how extensive of the TCPMP set up is there? I mean theres like 6 different players from techs post. I didnt know if those were cooked in or whether I would have to reinstall the package

Update on my problem with the mail tab freezing. I did a hard-reset and the first thing I did was add my AOL email. It's still locking up on the mail tab. Bummmmmmmerrrrrrrrr.... What's going on here?

redownload the rom and reflash, maybe you had a bad download at first, i have no problems with my yahoo and hotmail setup for email...

btw, i cant wait for an update, this is the best rhodium rom out....heres a couple things i would like to see cooked in the future if possible

1. something to fix clock bug (im using DisableWorldClock.cab which takes the problem away easily)

2. a better looking comm manager (might i suggest rhodium comm manager.cab or the oem is available in another thread)

3. some Rhodium Menu Enhancements would be nice too

4. and if u can get permission from juicy i like the wallpapers and sounds he uses in his roms those would be a nice addition

5. theres a new googlemaps out

6. i wish there was a way to fix tcpmp to stream FLV videos from WVD with no stutter, i can only play 3gp videos with no lag but FLVs are sloooooww, my titan played videos faster than that

Hi RSTG,

Do you have any real near future updates & fixes coming, like this weekend? I really like your rom but I use my phone for work so until some of the minor qurkes are worked out, I will have to use a different rom. I would like to thank you for all your hard work as you have a pretty cool loaded rom going here.

I will not be attempting to fix Rhodium anymore until the next version is released. The only fixes that I am aware of are because of Rhodium itself. Like my OEM's, my Rom's are only as good as the software inside them... :)

And I'll be getting my pro in a couple of weeks, so I'll be able to fine tune it more. For those that don't want to follow the normal crowd...

Not yet, I'll release a new one sometime in the first week of May. I'll let you flash that other rom for now, that will make you enjoy this one so much more when I do get something new out!

Ive been flashing so many roms and customizing so many things ive done merdins and everything which is supposed to be the best.. but thats bs ur rom is perfect its got the optimal amount of apps. and the performance and memory is fenominal i can be on the internet and running an app an dstill use the camera.. no other rom comes close i just wanted to say you did a great job and the new Rhodila theme sets it off even more. i couldnt stand not saying anything to you about it so just thought i'd give u my thoughts. the small keyboard was kinda annoying i downloaded the new tp2 keyboard which maybe u should put in ur next update cuz its getting a lot of hits so my phones pretty much perfect once again Awesome work and let hope you keep building more roms cuz uk what youre doing. =D>

Me too. I tried 6.5 yesterday morning...not for me yet.

So it's a good rom? I can't wait to try it myself. :) But I'm glad you like it. I put in a good mix of programs that I personaly use, as this is basically my personal rom that I'm sharing. But when flashing a custom rom, you shouldn't have to spend an hour or two customizing it. One or two programs and you should be off and running. That's actually what got me into this, messing with uc and spending 2 hours customizing an old_man_jenkins rom...

I have tried many of roms lately and yours and silence roms are IMO the best ones.... But I cant seem to get the start menu bigger any way to do that or am i missing something. thanks

Latest? I currently have 6 roms active. A TF3D, Rhodium, Spb Mobile Shell, one of each for the diamond and touch pro. I'll be giving this one some love over the next couple of days since there doesn't look like there will be a Rhodium update anytime soon...

I too am awaiting a Rhodium updated ROM...I tried the SPB Mobile Shell ROM but find that I was missing the Rhodium...This is the only Rhodium ROM I found that runs smooth & has multi-email selection...Thanks for all your hard work RSTG!!!

I'm working on that this morning, and testing today for hopefully a newer version tonight. This morning I upgraded my Norton 360 from v2.5 to v3.0 and I've spent all morning trying to get my WMDC working again. Just now got it up and going, wasted 4 precious hours.... Aaaarrrrgh... Hopefully something tonight!

Let's say that windows by itself is boring. I'll probably update all three builds, TF3D, Rhodium, and Mobile Shell v3. But I'm sure I pick a favorite and update whenever I can... Right now the favorite is MS3, But I also am enjoying the latest Rhodium release and will end up on that. MS3 is becoming...well is just a multi-page program launcher. This will be my first rom using a non-carrier donor rom, so it will be alot more flexible. I've never really built with a "blank" canvas before.

6.5 has come a longggg way. I made a rom using some of your OEMs and JDs kitchen a few weeks ago and it was actually VERY quick and stable.

so is this the new edition? v3.r1d.19? Im lookin for the most stable rhodium rom. Ive tried em all and its my favorite style. I have titanium, ms3, and titanium running and once. Unfortunatly its chewing my memory up. And my keyboard doesnt work so im gonna go with rhodium solo. Imfamiliar with the simple bugs in manilla. I dont see alot of hits for it just coming out today. Can anybody confirm if this is a gem?

Try it for yourself. If you like it, give us some feedback. If you don't, then find another... The beauty of all the roms out here at ppcgeeks!

We'll see what happens. It's probably gonna be loaded, but I'll make a couple different versions. Anyone can release a rom and tell you to add your own programs, I like the challenge of loading it up and making it all work!

Here's the plan:
Kitchen Tools:[ Apr 25 \ 21043(6.1) & 21501(6.5) v1.6.2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs
Kitchen Sys & Other Stuff: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen

Then tomorrow I'll check out Calcu's 21501 sys. Both have their own style and I need to make minor changes to, then add my stuff. Then I need to hunt for new skins etc to work for wm6.5. I was setup before, now I gotta collect all my ingredients again...

:headbang:Yep, and doing 2nd hard reset to try and edit contacts. Did hard reset after flash-installed rstg contact fix-soft reset-still seems to not want to edit contacts also.
