No Flash in IE or Opera any suggestions , I have tried flash lite 3.1 and Juggalos 3.1 and neither helped. By the way this is the fastest TF3D2 rom out!

I've tried four times and it keeps stopping during download with the message that the operation timed out. Is there something wrong with your file server?

i researched it and its a roaming icon,, i tried to go to phone / services/ roam , but its not there , only roaming alert ... just want to turn of that icon,,,any ideas?

For some odd reason the download keeps timing out. The rom sounds promising and Ive been trying to keep up with each one you've put out. So just wondering if there would be a fix

The rom is great as usual with the exception of battery life. It runs pretty smooth especially with everything that is packed into this rom. Has a fix been found for the "people" tab? No matter which button is selected (cell, home, work etc.) the phone calls the default number.


I stand corrected, this rom truly has an improved battery life. Keep up the good work!

You can disable it the same way it was enabled, startmenu-settings-system-flipit and uncheck it.

i tried that and installed changescreen because i couldnt get flipit to stop rotating on phone calls , added the cprog.exe and it didnt work , so now i have changescreen and its not working either , ived used changescreen before with no problems, i also and looking for a way to turn off the roaming icon,, great rom thxs for the fast responses

Any ideas on how to remove any of the .wav files that are included? Also how do you kill the the startup wave - I went into the Registry but the StartupWav in HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation does not contain a value. Deleting it, waiting 5 minutes, and then soft resetting didn't help. Not that I don't like it, I just doing want it going off when I need to reset the phone.

To change the startup sound, use total commander and overwrite \windows\PhoneOn.wav

This was said by somebody ealier in the thread, not sure who. Might have been RSTG. Try it and see if it works.

That doesn't work:

I tried that via Resco Explorer:
"File '\Windows\PhoneOn.wav' is in ROM memory! You cannot delete it."

And Total Commander:
"Warning Could not delete 1 file(s)!"

That's why I asked for a "muted" wav file.

If you are one of the 1000s of people who are tired of having your time go back an hour if you accidentally click the time on your home screen, then this tutorial is for you. What this will do is:
If you'll click your clock on the home screen, instead of taking you to your world clock(rolling your time back an hour), it will take you to gAlarm thus making your setting alarm easy too(and solving the time rolling back issue)

Hey rstoyguy, you rom is the only one that I've tried that has the Virgin Islands listed in the weather panel, which I think is cool but it comes up with a default 32 deg. reading. Is there any way to fix that?

Whoever did the US Weather Cities database, it's not configured right. 32 degrees F is the same a 0 celcius, and if you look at the bottom bar....It's not able to retrieve any weather information correctly..

Edit: A quick play with www.accuweather.com
1. it's listed in the program mentioned as British Virgin Island
2. Use accuweather.com to look them up

CAC|VI|VI003|CHARLOTTE+AMALIE -- would be the code for St Thomas

Currently it's 79 F and sunny... Tip, look up your weather, the code is in the addressbar. Good luck on your quest!

Hey RSTG, im sort of new to the whole flashing multiverse... but i made the leap with your ROM! it was the best decision i've done yet in my entire life! lol joking, but really it is 89% better then stock SPrinT ROM! i read your whole thread and about the Vista Hide BAttery guage... the explanation for removing it isnt on the 2nd Post so if you could induldge me i would like that gone. Also, my tabbed text messages would thread when double clicked so i could see my whole convo with that one person when i first flashed but no longer can i see our whole convo just my reply message that is my main eye twitcher but i have .14, flashing to .15 THUNDER CATS HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
