And I'm not sure what notification, don't get that on my diamond.

Re: ....RSTG Custom Rom -=- Rhodium_v1C v2.R.02 FuzeBerry II 3/28/09

really fast and stable....beside the stupid time issue..
couple things i have noticed:

i cant get picture mail to work.

when replying to a text message, i cant figure out how it determines to use the "new" text message system, or the standard WM message format...
on this issue, is it possible to get the left soft key to be send, instead of having to hit it on the screen? ive canceled countless texts this way already...

i believe there was a camera fix that had pictures that were taken in landscape show up in portrait..is that in this rom?

the data connect bubble. is there a reg edit to disable that? its the dialing #777 or whatever...

beside those "issues" its great....fast and crash free so far...

Keep it up RSTG....

Just so you know, the sprint update does not work, I installed the sprint update cab and it works now. But now I have duplicate icons. Where is the system icons stored and can I install the latest arcsoft software on top on the one you have cooked in.

But really good rom.

I tried a new arcsoft, with threaded and its buggy and not rom worthy. Icons are stored in \windows\start menu\programs. The directory structure here is similiar to what you see in quickmenu...

Thanks for the heads up on the arcsoft.
But those icons are not housed there, thats the program folder icons.
I am looking for the settings/system icon folder like power update prl and update profile.

Thanks

Those are most likely in HKLM\ControlPanel\MyCpl\?? where ?? is a number. Some may be in \windows and the extension will be .cpl. For the sprint updates, they are in the registry. Don't know how you would get duplicates there though...

I am having a problem with the clock. It keeps going back one hour and on saskatchawan time. This is a serious problem for me does anyone have a fix? How do you get the G sensor to work with the home screens. Some of the TP2 TF3D roms are already set for that and I like it.

Thanks

I may be wrong but I think there's a cab floating around in the same thread as the Palm Arcsoft app that fixes the icon issue.

This is a current known bug with Rhodium itself.

Like I've said many times, this thing is beta and things will be addressed in my rom when they get fixed.

The g-sensor is also a known bug with Rhodium. Use startmenu-settings-Flip it as an alternative work around.

Wow i am using your ROM for over 3 month on my diamond (.35 one not the rhodium) and never noticed that you have a rom for Touch Pro as well! Will be installing this ROM on my T Pro today, however i noticed that rhodium for diamond is on version 4 already while this is only on version 2, is it the same thing or should i wait for new release?

Thanks for the great rom. I loaded it last night and ran it all day, albeit light usage. I love all the programs on there and the look of all the icons.

Okay, here are some things I noticed:
1. Home button does not take me home. The end call button does however.
2. Active sync goes on and on and on. I have to turn off the phone to get it stop.

Btw, this is a Sprint phone running on Verizon.

Thanks again for the beautiful rom.

Re: ....RSTG Custom Rom -=- Rhodium_v1C v2.R.02 FuzeBerry II 3/28/09

Was just reading through this thread and just wanted to share some info on some of the issues:

The timezone issue is a known issue with the Rhodium TF3D. Basically the time function in TF3D isn't functioning correctly. It might work for now, but go in and play around with the alarms and you might just trigger the bug. The fix according to xBoxMod is to use the WinMo settings to set your time right (once you have the time right on your TF3D homescreen) and then staying away from the clock on the homescreen (I know thats kind of hard). They have a fix coming soon they reported.

I think the Arcsoft issue is also related to the timing bug. I think that the WinMo time and the TF3D time is confusing Arcsoft which uses WinMo to timestamp but then must thread itself with SMS messages that use TF3D to timestamp. Fix your time problem first then re-install Arcsoft and it should work fine.

Other issues that you might have but don't realise yet include the People's tab not being able to call the secondary and tertiary numbers. Even if you hit the button for some of the other numbers it always seems to call the primary number. Not sure if there is an ETA on that issue. Also, the contact card doesn't seem to allow you to add a picture. The album just won't open up. You may or may not have those issues with the ROM ... its seems to randomly affect some users. Good luck! It looks like a good ROM and I may try it in the future just because it is Sprint friendly! Good work RSTG!

:headbang: This Rom Rocksssss!, Thanks for the great work!, the only thing I dont like it's the color line on top of the start menu, it use to be a defect of the old custom roms, do you know how to make it desapear? Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, I got the Batti reconfigured with dark colors, 2 days running the Rom and it's estable, fast! A+A+A+A+A

Why is this called a FuzeBerry... sorry if it is a naive question. But what is different than a Rhodium or Manila ?

I'm running this ROM on a Telus phone and it works great. Also, I love the bar on top which represent the battery life. It's so colorful and nice :drunken:

Hi

not sure if this is what you need

Try to extend the keyboard, press the fn key then space bar, then select abc.

What a great ROM, thanks!

Only thing I noticed was that the text entry fields in the email app are invisible (or a green bar) when typing. Once you switch away from it to a new field, it is readable again...

I plan on rebuilding the Rhodium package from scratch this evening. And sending out an update as soon as I can get it together. I'll be rebuilding my diamond rom from scratch to test it with, so the update will probably come on sunday. Yeah, you guys want it quicker, but I gotta job which needs me more.
