Re: Help setting page pool

when you downloaded his rom, inside the package should have been a program called page pool changer. run that program, select the rom file which is an .nbh file and you can change it to whatever you want to.

Re: Help setting page pool

well that depends. i have a verizon touch pro so i like to stay between 10 and 12. if you have a sprint, alltel, etc, i know from exploring roms built for those devices they can range anywhere from 18 to 32. in the title of mightymike's rom it says 24mb so i would try that.

FYI , you have to change the PagePool BEFORE you flash so you'll have to reflash if you want it changed. And as long as you dont have a Verizon TP then you have virtually NO memory restrictions then you should just leave it at 24mb as Mighty intended

Re: Help setting page pool

For Verizon set it to 12...
For the others I think 24 will be more than enough...

For some reason Verizon had HTC dedicate some of the memory to the radio instead.

I'm running MightyMike's rom on a Verizon TP with a PP of 12.
Runs very smoothly. I also disable MS Voice Command (never use it with Manila) to get me a little more program memory...
I hover between 55% and 75% free ram depending on how long ago I reset.

There is also a good memory clear cab
Search for HTC Addicts CleanRam...(Try Xda if it's not posted here)
Will clear about 6-8 Mb of ram out for when you need space and don't want to reset the phone!
