Please help! 302 error on Rom Flash, stuck on bootloader screen

Im trying to flash Scrolers rom and my phone errors out less then half way through it.

Says 302 upgrade error

I need my phone up and working. I would have kept the stuck rom if it wasnt such garbage. Im flashing from Mighty rom which wasnt much better then stock.

How can i fix my phone, ive been googling.

I cant flash to scolers rom. I cant flash back to Mighty rom. I cant flash back to stock rom. I keep getting 302 upgrade error. Please Help!!!!

which method are you using for flashing?


do you put the phone in bootloader manually, or do you let the ROM update utility do so?

are you flashing from an SD card?

a little detail will go along way to an online diagnosis

Im flashing from my XP machine using the romupdateutility.exe that came with the rom download.

I had ran the spl unlocker before flashing to Mighty rom a couple weeks ago. Mighty rom is cool but has my phone running at 90% memory and i cant use vz nav. Everyone said i should try scolers so i hit him up about it and he recommended his most reliable version. I downloaded it, extracted it with win rar and ran the update utility.

I followed the instructions and it went to flash and it crapped out at 41%. I went through to recovery process and tried to update again. It got to 26% and crapped out.

I tried a few more times, i tried a hard reset, i tried to re flash mighty rom and it got to 90%, i tried downloading vz stock rom and it crapped out at 9%.

Im trying to keep a cool head but i am very frustrated. I just moved last week and started a new job this week. THis phone has been nothing but problems. Id love it if everything just worked, but i dont want to have to reflash my phone every 2 weeks. with stock rom, Wifi craps out, i couldn't answer incoming calls, it was slow and it would lock up. With mighty rom, no nav, data keep crapping out, and my phone runs at 90% memory.

I decided i dont want to be a ppc guru. I have microsoft certs and work in DTS; this phone was supposed to be one of the best available in the country and its a pos (with much help from verizon). Please help me get this piece of sh#t working.

i would try and flash the stock rom (or whichever you choose) by manually entering bootloader mode while having the stock ROM image installed on the root of a microsd card (rename the image to RAHPIMG.nbh)

to enter bootloader mode manually: while pressing the enter key and holding the power button down insert your stylus in the hole for the reset button. keep pressing till the bootloader screen pops up

then the bootloader will automatically read the nbh file you have on your card (assuming it is already installed in the phone). follow the prompts the ROM should then be flashed to the phone.

i have seen where loading a ROM using this method has helped many who have had the same issue as you

okay, i dont know what the deal was but as a trouble shooter i had my girlfriend bring her laptop over to try from another source and it worked!!
