Using a custom ROM, all MMS messages have incorrect time
I'm in the EST zone, and I have my phone's time and time zone are set correctly.
If I receive a SMS, it shows up correctly with the correct time. If I receive a MMS, the time is shown as 5 hours earlier. This is a little frustrating, because I receive my Nagios alerts as MMS messages since they are not limited to the 160 character limit. Can someone tell me what I need to check? Is there a time zone setting in the registry for ArcSoft? Thanks

Re: Using a custom ROM, all MMS messages have incorrect time
Open your dialer, click menu, select "Options...", select services tab, then select "Time Synchronization", click Get Settings... Make sure that box is checked...

Re: Using a custom ROM, all MMS messages have incorrect time
This works for me:
HKLM\Software\OEM\SMS\RecvTimeStamp = 1 HKLM\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI\ EnableCDMATimeStamp = 0 InboxDispTimeType = 1 InsertTimeStampWhenSending = 0 SendDeliveryTimeInAbsolute = 0 SendExpireTimeInAbsolute = 0(Sprint TP on VZW, GC 2.1.4 ROM) |

Re: Using a custom ROM, all MMS messages have incorrect time
Dude! You're a life saver. After comparing my registry settings,
EnableCDMATimeStamp was enabled (1) and InboxDispTimeType was disabled (0). Changing these two values to match yours seems to have fixed my problem. I sent a "Thanks" your way and REALLY appreciate the info! Doug Quote:
