Any New Android Rom for Touch Pro ? ?

are you installing it properly? There is a specific way to actually position the files. Also are you using the modified intrid files? if not you will get some sort of issue

it's for GSM phones only. In the boot sequence it only states device Raphael GSM aka Touch Pro :\
so you guys with the Fuze are probably able to load it

Not true at all, I've had it running on my Sprint RAPH800.

If you're getting errors, you might have to modify your default.txt file. In order to get it to boot properly, I had to modify it so it looked like this:

set MTYPE 1910
set KERNEL zImage
set INITRD root.cpio.gz
set RAMADDR 0x10000000
set cmdline "root=/dev/ram0 init=/init console=tty0 mem=76M msmsdcc_id=3 msmts_calib=0x81.0x393.0x358.0x7d msmvkeyb_toggle=hide"
boot


The two items I had to modify were setting msmsdcc to 3 and the msmts_calib to get the screen calibration to be correct for the TP.

It worked for me on a sprint TP after a little bit of messing around but the colors were still off and the touchscreen response was reversed. This was a long time ago. i haven't touched it since

Look above and change the calibration to fix the touchscreen response being reversed.

The colors are still not working properly, and unfortunately it's not a high priority on their list as most of the people working on it are GSM, and it only seems to affect the CDMA users.

You're exactly right. The issue with the colors is due solely to the fact that the CDMA version (RAPH800) uses the MSM7500 series chipset, and the GSM variants (RAPH100,RAPH500,etc) use the MSM7200 series chipset.

They'll eventually get it going, and there ARE people focused on the RAPH800, so we'll see what happens.

Hey ya'll - I'm having issues booting Android on my Sprint Touch Pro. Any help you can offer would be appreciated! Here are details:

Hi, I have a Sprint Touch Pro (RAPH800)
I have the Sprint Raphael Radio V1.11.00F
I also have MightyRom 4.12 installed

I have loaded the Android files onto my 4GB micro-SHDC card via ActiveSync.

My problem is that Android won't boot! It gives me errors including:

mmc1: command timeout
mounting /dev/mmcblk0p1 on /mmc failed: No such device or address
mounting /mmc/tmp/system.e2img on /system failed: No such file or directory
etc.

I have reformatted my micro-SD card to FAT32 and also tried msmsdcc_id of 1, 2, and 3.

do not use the latest build
use the february 3 build...the latest build doesn't work on the touch pro...use the older version it should work
if you hit up the connect utb forums there is a thread on screen calibration. But as the comments say, there are issues still with colors and depth for our versions =(

Thanks Noir. The 20090203 release works for me! Hopefully the color issues can be worked out soon.
