Can't you just execute Sashimi from your SDConfig.txt?

i.e.

LOCK:Enabled
LOCK: Disabled
HIDE: Enabled
EXEC:\Storage Card\sashimi\Program\Bin\SASHIMI.exe
HIDE: Disabled
RST: Reset

NOTE: You would need to remove the space after LOCK: and HIDE:

EDIT: Don't know if this will work b/c EXEC can't have spaces in the command line...forgot about that...

EDIT2: What if you create a shortcut to the Sashimi thats on the SD Card, and copying that shortcut to \Temp\sashimi.lnk, then execute that shortcut from SDConfig? I think that may work, not 100% sure though.

I'm not sure....I already had Sashimi all set up on my card and had it the way I wanted it before this other method started to get popular. I didn't realize that they could be intertwined. To be honest I haven't read anything about this method yet. I will look into it.

EXEC does not work with spaces but CPY1 and CPY2 do.

I use SDConfig to copy executables to the device and then use EXEC

works for me

CPY1: <source>
CPY2: <destination>
EXEC: <destination>

I use this to fire PIM backup after flashing

I saw someone post that you can get sashimi to run automatically if you put the right line in your SDConfig file. I'll see what I can find...

Edit: Oops, should refresh before I post... see some people already beat me too it...

I believe the sashimi executable has to be run from the sashimi directory on the SD Card.

That's why I think if a shortcut is created and put on the SD Card, it can be copied to the device and executed from the SD Card.

I'm being lazy here... is there a way for UC to remove a read only property? Also is there a way for UC to delete files?
