Answer (I think)

HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila:

HomeLSKPath = executable path left softkey
HomeLSKText = Text for left Softkey

HomeRSKPath = executable path right softkey
HomeRSKText = Text for right Softkey
My preferred method is using DiamondTweak. You can actually set it to New SMS without even messing w/the registry, or make it load an app.

Advanced Config will let you set the keys as well, under More Options->Key mapping. It won't let you set a New SMS tho (if I am not mistaken, it may be possible using a string)

I am having the same issue as described... I flashed... then hard resetted ( like i always do after flash) then is froze on the preparing device for first use... then soft reseted. nothing... took the batt out... nothing... bootloader then reflashed... nothing. soft reset nothing.... this is really pissin me off... i know those that had the issue have got it fixed, but not me... Oh and PROBEX... that theme looks SICK!

EDIT! Just soft resetted and pulled the batt out 10 times before it finally worked

Been answered a lot. Search this thread. It's a simple reg edit. And no, I do not know which entry it is but there are many.

Actually... it hasn't. What's been mentioned is how to revert back to the standard Windows menu. I've searched this thread and manually read every message since it changed to version 6. There seems to be no mention of how to unlock the locked icons from the programs menu. Adding the programs tab and reverting back to the basic start menu does not unlock those locked icons.

Honestly, this thread is much too long and nearly impossible to search.

Has anyone started adding/removing items to their program menu and had it get stuck?

I've added the 'programs' tab and reverted back to the standard start menu. I was adding programs and it gets stuck on the newer 'start menu' and the only way to get out of it was to do a reset. You'll notice the top doesn't say 'programs' any more. It says 'start'.

Re: JUICY 6 - Build 090328H (21042) [UC] *RHODIUM MANILA*

Found the regedit for deleting PROGRAM shortcuts.

To unlock (or lock) these items edit the registery item HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\ProgramLauncher There are a series of numbered items under this key corresponding the each "block" in the Programs Menu. Edit these numbered items and look for sub key IsReadOnly. Set this sub key to 1 to lock and 0 to unlock the corresponding entry.
