Overall, the interface is slooooooow, launching programs is a painful process, and tmail.exe locks up 90% of the time I use it. I was driving home from the mall with my friend and her sister. Her sister was being a *****, so instead of saying it, she tried to text me "I love you :)" but it never showed up, I tried to start the messaging app via Titanium, it didn't respond. I tried to start the app via start menu and it said tmail.exe could not be launched, go to the task manager and end any non-responsive processes.

I soft reset, still, her text still hasn't shown up. I've changed the pagepool to 18mb, but I'm going to hard reset now (did twice on reflash), change the pagepool to 24, reflash again, hard reset again... and hope it works.

The only "issue" I could be having is that I have ~2000 texts restored to the phone via MyPhone.

Edit: Also, I'm going to work on releasing a version of tsowen's notification area icons for 6.5. If you install one of the old .cabs, the speaker icon doesn't work, for example, and the OK/X button gets messed up pretty badly.

for speed issues, make sure u change the PP to 16mb, it is 6mb by default (my accident)

Does anyone know how this could be accomplished? As you can see I posted this question a few days ago, and don't see any response since then...

Nice to see ya after the party Juicy. Great rom, working quite well aside from Sprint TV but I never use that anyways. Installed Sprint Arcsoft and haven't ever seen MMS work so quick, dunno if it is due to 6.5 or what but working beautifully. Thanks for all the work and thanks for sharing it with all of us.

as many users have stated, this is not a bug with MY rom. it is a bug in rhodium manila - xboxmod can't fix it. there are new files he is porting where HTC has fixed it (it is their bug).

if you scroll back, i asked people if i should

a) leave it alone and let users fix it as the choose
b) kill the redirect
c) redirect to galarm

people chose to leave it alone and choose for themselves.

Anyway to fix these two issues?

+1 with the highlight thing but as far as the ok and the X...I had that problem. I think that it is caused from installing custom taskbar or the Tmobile skin...I hard reset and didn't install them and now its back.

Yeah, I read that. I changed the PP to 18, before I even flashed the first time around. MyPhone is getting the rest of my things copied back now, and I have the PP set to 24mb, I do plan on running TF3D at some point, I just want to play with Titanium for now.

I guess I'm the only one with the issue so far, I was having weird issues with DeviceLock too (it wasn't running properly the first time I installed it). If the messaging app issues are still present, I'll just clear my text database from MyPhone.

If it were that simple, I wouldn't have made my post. The minimum font size is a setting larger than it was in build 090405H. However, the smallest size doesn't carry over to things like All Messages SMS and email messages. They are displayed at the next larger size. The message lists use the small size, but the messages themselves don't. It wasn't that way in 090405H.

Yea I believe it's from a custom taskbar(I installed one). Anyone know of a CAB to bring the big X and big OK back?

Is there a way to make the battery meter show a %? I would like it in the status window. When you click on the battery icon and it shows the green meter. I would like it to have a % status as well. Is this possible? I don't really want to change the battery meter on the taskbar as I like it the way it is.

Nah, I did a hard reset. The graphics were all messed up when I went to Email in TFLO and then hit menu and new account. I set up Email fine through the messages tab.

Running much better on a 24mb PP.

Something must have been weird with the flash. When I would tap a new text message from Titanium, it would just open the Messaging app (eventually - sooo slow). It wouldn't go to the actual thread of the person who sent the text.

Now, if I tap it, it immediately goes to the thread, and shows the latest message. Everything is speedy and seems to be working as it's supposed to.

Random question, did Microsoft fix the gmail account settings bug with 6.5? Acutally, going to test that right now for you. It downloads my mail just fine, just going to try to send a message to myself.

Also, found a minor bug.

http://i39.tinypic.com/2db2us9.jpg

Message app options, left softkey displays "ss32" instead of the proper text.

Edit: Microsoft fixed the gmail account settings bug, whee! Now, you don't need to do anything special to set up your gmail account, the default settings work fine. Go go microsoft!

Edit 2: Feel like cooking in devicelock? I don't see a reason not to - it's not on by default, and SO many people ask for it, it'll just stop the inevitable. There's two .cabs around I have noticed. Devicelock1.1.cab and one called something like wm6.5 device lock.cab. The latter seems to be newer and had more options available. I lost the .cab file in a hard reset today (forgot to copy to storage card) and can't find it again.

Has anybody been able to get SprintTV to work on this or the last ROM ?

I installed the latest SpintTV CAB (SprintTVVGACab_1.6.4.74603_11_19_2008.CAB) Ran it, got the 7004 server error then installed Calkulin's Sprint TV Fix.cab and still get the 7004 error.

Is there some magic to get this to work?

Something I just noticed.

When I bring up the camera, the view on the screen will occasionally black out until I tap on the screen. It comes back but then sometime blacks out again. Tapping seems to bring it back.

Anybody else see this?

Yes I do experience something like this, either it will black out completely or it will come back as a tiny square, the pic still takes and shows up fine after but during the take it does this.

Indeed. Does it have the lag when going into the Rhodium text messaging interface, as well as the lag after sending a message?

Sorry, don't mean to be a nuisance but I use a lot of messaging.

ok, the 2 problems that I ran into thus far. first is after the phone loaded the tf3d2, on the upper left, instead of saying start it would say messaging, and instead of the drop down icon for task manager, I have a X on it. but as soon as I start scrolling through tf3d and come back to home, those things would be gone.

the second thing I ran into was not I cannot run Pocketwit, current version is 0.70. don't know if others are running into these problems, but those are the ones that I have encountered. Other than that, it just takes some time to get used to using 6.5, as this was my first time flashing to a 6.5, great, great stuff, on the first implementation of 6.5 into Rhodium. thank you juicy as always.

Juicy! You did it agian! Seems flawless so far.
First of all, battery life and memory usage is AMAZING using titanium compared to using manila TFlo3D.

Plus, I have not had one issue with your ver.7 ROM which is amazing seeing as though I've installed all of these:
Programs
G-Alarm
CorePlayer
HTorch
MS MyPhone
Palringo
Sprint Picture Mail
Resco Explorer (w/ reg & ftp plugins)
ThumbCal
TomTom Navigator
Twikini
MusicID
WMWifiRouter
W.V.D.
Customization Apps
AdvancedConfig 3.3
Ipaso TitaniumCustomizer
DeviceLock1.1
tsowen taskbar 3v1.4
Showaco Whitefont AllPrograms Tab v3.1b
xbmodNotification show program tab
ruskiyab DisableWorldClock
HTC WeatherMaster Rhodium
PPCGeeks TitleBarDateHack

(Only 1 personalization gripe: I'm having trouble getting used to the new startmenu and none of the apps to enable the original seem to work. Any ideas?)

i did not like it at first either, but i made changes to the menu to get it more friendly to my needs.

i went to \windows\start menu\programs and cut the icons i did not use.(i placed the ones i cut on my storage card in a folder just to have them incase i want to put them back) so now i only have 10 icons on the menu. this may help you

and you can also make folders to group the programs to your liking
